I wanted to love this pair. Unfortunately, they run large because there is practically no padding anywhere in the shoe. I also have my doubts about them standing up to wear and tear because of the unfinished edges. They look amazing but the fit and finish have forced me to return them.
There is so much about these shoes that I like, and I was excited to receive them. However, the shoe looks unfinished with just exposed padding along the top of the shoe. Perhaps there is something that is supposed to be appealing about the design but I'm afraid it just looks like an unfinished and low-quality shoe to me. Also, I couldn't imagine they wear well over time given that the padding around the ankle is just exposed without the lining and outer shell being stitched together. An odd design choice that I believe cheapens the look of the shoe. I'll be returning it. I recommend you review the photos more carefully than I did before purchasing the shoe. To be honest, I hadn't found a shoe designed like this before, so it caught me off guard.
