This is a personal review of the AJ1 Retro High OG Royal Reimagined that released on November 4th. The shoe is not bad, but I will not rate as a great shoe either. The classic color way is what lifts up these shoes, being a timeless color way made into an icon by an icon, the GOAT himself. I don’t dislike the materials used to make the shoes, but I think that they could have done better. I don’t mind mixing things up, like they did with the AJ1 Washed Black, being a combination of suede and smooth leather materials. In which case, these could’ve been better. I think it’s a missed opportunity altogether. I still like the shoes, but I wouldn’t put it up there at par with the Chicago Lost and Founds, which are beautiful. This is a classic shoe in a classic colorway. The suede is a nice quality but after having them in hand, I think it would have been waaay better to have been in the classic leather with an aged midsole similar to the reimagined 3s. Guaranteed instant sellout with that look. This is a quality shoe though. Mine had some scuffs on the heel from the wrapping paper. I was able to get it to smooth out with some brushing.

This is a classic shoe in a classic colorway. The suede is a nice quality but after having them in hand, I think it would have been waaay better to have been in the classic leather with an aged midsole similar to the reimagined 3s. This review is for the Black-White color way.The leather is nice as with other AJ1s at this price point. The color of them is great, but I was highly disappointed to find out that they didn't come with a second pair of white laces. I think every other pair of AJ1s I have purchased at this price point have come with 2 colors/pairs of laces. For people that are wondering, they only come with one pair of laces(black). Pretty disappointing.
Well, I have quite a few pair of shoes and Jordan 1 Low's. I just wear them with whatever matches. This pair, the "galactic jade", it is breathtaking! There is a tiny bit of shimmer in the laces, inside and even on the outer areas of green. It is very slight but super fabulous. These are by far my favorite pair of J's! I wear a 10.5 sometimes in other Nike's, and often choose 8.5 in men's if I'm buying Jordan 1's, but these seem to fit less snug in the 10Women's (not loose at all) but they are super comfy.
First off the colors are grease! I a Detroit Lions fan and just wished these came out during the season. These color match the jersey of the Barry Sanders years of rein as the best running back. Blue is my favorite color so it was a no brainer but these are definitely screaming Detroit Lions. To be honest I might wear these no more than three times and then retire them like my favorite Running Back, Barry Sanders. I'm glad I purchased. I think these may be my favorite Jordan in my closet. Am I too old to be an influencers for Jordan or Snipes? Also, I need a fit to go along with these.
The Anthracite/Sail/Legend Sand/Jade Smoke colorway is a sleeper. In person it is such a beautiful mix of muddled tones with just enough color pop to grab your attention. They have a very "Travis Scott" vibe to them. I purchased these for my girlfriend and not only does she love them but I find myself wishing I had a shoe size that would allow for me to wear these. Pull the trigger you won't be disappointed with the look and quality!
I just got the royal reimagined. Was pretty excited for it. The suede/nubuck looks better than I expected. Two things I noticed off the bat were the color on the blue laces were off. Wish it matched the shoe more. Even the shade of blue on the box would be nicer. Biggest thing, is it just me or the insole was very loose. Came right out. It revealed all the stitching on the shoe. I don’t think I’ve ever had this happen to me before.
