The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Dia de los Muertos” is a special colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe dedicated to the traditional Mexican holiday. Part of Nike’s Fall 2020 “Dia de los Muertos” collection, the mid-top version of the retro basketball and lifestyle shoe features a family-inspired design consisting of colors found in traditional floral ofrendas (also known as altars) that are displayed during the holiday to commemorate the lives of those who have transitioned. White leather appears on the perforated toe and the mid-panel. Jordan Brand contrasts the neutral base with fuchsia leather detailing on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and mid-panel. The cracked yellow Swoosh and collar provide a personalized touch. The “Dia de los Muertos” features a heritage inspired gold nylon tongue tag and “Familia” embroidery on the forefoot.
