The colorway is also a subtle nod to the Mexican culture. The Spanish-word for ‘family' is inscribed on the lateral forefoot keeping in sync with the theme of the shoe. It also features crackled swooshes and collar underlay resembling the desert floor of the country. The purple overlays symbolize the twilight while the gold accents are inspired from the traditional papel picado decorations.
