This is a personal review of the AJ1 Retro High OG Royal Reimagined that released on November 4th. The shoe is not bad, but I will not rate as a great shoe either. The classic color way is what lifts up these shoes, being a timeless color way made into an icon by an icon, the GOAT himself. I don’t dislike the materials used to make the shoes, but I think that they could have done better. I don’t mind mixing things up, like they did with the AJ1 Washed Black, being a combination of suede and smooth leather materials. In which case, these could’ve been better. I think it’s a missed opportunity altogether. I still like the shoes, but I wouldn’t put it up there at par with the Chicago Lost and Founds, which are beautiful. This is a classic shoe in a classic colorway. The suede is a nice quality but after having them in hand, I think it would have been waaay better to have been in the classic leather with an aged midsole similar to the reimagined 3s. Guaranteed instant sellout with that look. This is a quality shoe though. Mine had some scuffs on the heel from the wrapping paper. I was able to get it to smooth out with some brushing.

I absolutely love these shoes!! The look, the feel of the material, the color way is top notch!! These are absolutely my favorite pair of 1’s I own. I had to get two pairs. Best part of all they were released on my birthday so that was Nike’s gift to me!

So these are a bit different from the other OG J1s lately.For starters the logo on the side is a glass pendant instead of just embossed on the material.The classic fluffy achilles padding that J1s are known for feels almost overstuffed with these. As if they were going for something more insulated for the winter months?They are great. Just curious if these changes are permanent to the J1 line.
This is my first pair of AJ1s and I'm really happy with my purchase 😊. I bought a pair of lows about a year ago and had to return them because the quality was so poor. Stiff, cheap leather, rubbed the sides of my foot, just all around poor quality and uncomfortable. I'm happy to say that the material and craftsmanship of this pair is way better! Very soft foot bed, soft lining, suede is good quality, fits true to size, and very comfortable right out of the box. Oh and the color way is dope too! I will be able to wear with these with a variety of outfits.
I just got the royal reimagined. Was pretty excited for it. The suede/nubuck looks better than I expected. Two things I noticed off the bat were the color on the blue laces were off. Wish it matched the shoe more. Even the shade of blue on the box would be nicer. Biggest thing, is it just me or the insole was very loose. Came right out. It revealed all the stitching on the shoe. I don’t think I’ve ever had this happen to me before.
I finally received exclusive access for the AJ1 High OG Pollens after years of waiting and was in the middle of taking of my scrubs before resting for the evening and decided -hey why not check if I got early access before the day is over and boom! Selected my size 12 and immediately checked out.I received them quickly the following Monday and quality of the leather was on of the best on an AJ1 in some time. Awesome speed of delivery, killer quality and brilliant color blocking.I was so elated to receive these, yellow is my favorite color and I have had my eye on these for some months. Thank you Nike! The shoes look much nicer when on hand than on the website. When I opened the box, I could smell the "recently manufactured" scent. They looked awesome as they lay sideway opposite to each other. Because I use a special thin cast-boot I had to order a 1/2 size bigger than my true size. I laced the shoes with both laces included, red and white. When I stepped into these shoes, they were a nice fit. I couldn't tell they were half size bigger, 11.5 vs 11.0. I got many complements from my family. My grandkids loved them so much that they kept telling me I should buy them a pair. They are 4 boys. It would be too expensive. The inside of the shoe feels comfortable although the insole could've been made better with a bit more cushion. The Royals Reimagined are made out of quality materials and look/feel lux. I sprayed mine for extra protection and to get a slightly darker look. They’re perfect! Also, they wear well. They had the thicker insole. After several wears, nary a crease can be seen. Can’t believe people slept on these.
AJ1 Retro High OG Sleeper of the year! I hesistated on release date because I already own so many pairs of AJ1s so, lately I've had to pick and choose wisely.I immediatley regretted the decision.But! Once I saw a picture of these with black laces, they looked even better to me! Thankfully i was still able to get my size a couple weeks later
