The Air Jordan 12 “Game Royal” is an updated look for the design that Michael Jordan made famous during the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. During Game 5 of the Finals, Jordan, then playing with a bad stomach virus, poured in 38 points enroute to a Chicago Bulls victory. Dubbed the “Flu Game” 12, the sneaker gained mystique for being the colorway Jordan wore during one of his most legendary performances ever. In 2019 Jordan Brand released this “Game Royal” Air Jordan 12, featuring identical color blocking to the “Flu Game” colorway, but with royal blue accents instead of red. The construction includes buttery black leather and contrasting Game Royal nubuck panels with a pebbled texture that add a pop of color. Black rope laces sit on a black leather tongue that features blue accents for the “Two 3” text and Jumpman logo. Further Jordan branding comes on the heel tab and heel spine with a black “23” logo on the blue rubber midsole. Completing the look is a familiar Air Jordan 12 outsole consisting of a black traction pattern with blue overlays. The Air Jordan 12 “Game Royal” released on September 21, 2019.

This is an awesome colorway or a classic model jordan. Plenty of fashion options to rock this shoe with. Nike did a great job. Minus a few quality control overlooks(minorglue, and stitching) this is a top 5 shoe.

I just got these today. In nike athletic shoes I'm usually a 9 in women's so I went ahead and got these in 7.5 men. They fit although my toe is near the box it feels a tiny bit spacious but not enough that I would size down to a 7 because then it would be too tight. The quality on these shoes are amazing. The suede is premium and the color is so rich I felt like a glass of fine wine.My only thing is one of my pairs had some glue the apparently spilled over on the colored part of the heel. Can you all provide how to clean that glue off without stripping the paint? I'd return for an exchange but I've already wore it outside and didn't even notice the glue until after the fact.
One of the most comfortable retro jordan’s in my opinion, great quality on these as well. I normally go a half size down with the 12s I always felt like they ran big.
This shoe brings back memories. It was my first pair of J's back in 98 ( playoffs colorway). The most comfortable shoe out of all the jordan retros in my opinion.
I've always loved wearing Jordan 12's , you can literally go from wearing them casually to stepping into a pick up game without missing a beat. I know these have become a lifestyle shoe.... but they are still deadly on a basketball court. Carbon fiber plate allows for hard cuts while slightly oversized fore foot gives you more balance while shifting gears , the durability is unmatched and they look amazing on foot
Jordans these days have a quality of hit or miss. The edges where the upper and the sole are not connected all the way. You see glue marks on the suede and between suede and rubber. The jumpman logo look like it was drawn by a kid. Also the jumpman logo on the metal shoelace hole is just garbage. These are gonna be a return for me.2 stars for the look from afar.
The shoe feels great. I can move around in them fairly well and they're comfortable. No quality issues that I've seen,
This retro is extremely comfortable, the suede upper and the connected inner tongue makes for a snug, secure fit. The black is bold and intense and really looks great with the gold highlights of the eyelets and the TWO3 stitching on the tongue. Nike's shipping was great, the shoes arrived as expected with no problems. If you're a fan of the Jordan 12s, you can't go wrong with these.
