Let's start off by the color way itself which is one of my favorite on the AJ 5 retro line! The black, blue and metallic silver create an extremely appealing look on this Jordan 5 and the iconic shark tooth feature looks amazing! The suede is very high quality and there were no blemishes at all anywhere on it. Over all a great shoe for daily wear as the color way goes with everything and the shoe is very comfortable.

I was personally given access to Air Jordan 1 patent Bred 1s, Red Thunder 4's, & numerous others only to be beyond frustrated trying to open & use the app when it comes time to purchase. Please limit the number of access given or improve your site so the average person can actually order. Love the idea of exclusive access, but the system is seriously flawed.

The BEST and most comfortable Jordan retro ever! I have the Fire Reds that released back in January, and also needed these crazy Grapes. The soft tongue that is NOT 3M is beyond comfortable, padding is incredible, support is awesome, and the legendary looks are just insane. Love the grape and new emerald combo, just a really sick sneaker for the summer. Also like the new blue-tinted outsole, it looks great and yellows very slowly. Will be saving these for the summer. Quality is as usual with JB, not the best but whatever. Craftsmanship is perfect- perfect stitching, nice icey soles and mesh panels, awesome padding and support. Yes, I know these are technically the "Laney HS" colorway, but as a W's fan, these kicks are one of the best looking, if not the best, pair of shoes with W's colors.Overall 5 rating because there really isn't anything to knock the shoes for. You aren't typically buying these expecting advanced basketball tech or superior comfort. You're probably buying these because you had a pair of Jordan V's back in the day, or wished you did.I will say that the materials on this shoe are nice. The tumbled white leather was a nice touch and I didn't notice any massive quality failures that some other Jordan retro's appear to have had.Overall, a sweet pair of kicks. Go W's!
I wear them leisurely. The shoe have good material and the body of the shoes remit a shine when you take a picture of it with a flash. Usually the Air Jordan 5 only remit a shine on the tongue. The color is nice, the grey is a light grey and the hint of green is not to bright but bright enough to catch someones eye if they are looking down at your shoes. Overall I would purchase the shoe again and any colorway that maybe release in the future.
So I've been waiting for these to drop for about 26 years.Nike air on the back - CheckNo #23 embroidery - CheckLooks true to the OG but the tongue. It's too padded! The OG was sort of flat like the last metallic that dropped.and it seems taller. this shoe was like a mid top. this shoe is just about as tall as a 6!.Looks great though. Suprised that they had a restock.Hope the quality issues are resolved..The V is my all time favorte J to be released.
The og 5's are dope with the Nike air branding. The price of Jordan's now a days is a bit steep, but your paying for the iconic legend that these shoes were made for and worn by. I was surprised at how comfortable they are. I could literally wear these all day every day. They go great with any outfit and have that style that no other shoes have. I'm going to be rocking J's till the day I die so for me these were just another nice addition to my ongoing shoe collection.
I remember being a kid and having MJ posters on my wall and cut outs of Air Jordan’s from my mums catalogues stuck to my cupboards and drawers. As a kid it was all about them See through soles... I’ve owned many pairs of AJ but always wanted those AJ5 that were on that poster. The ones I couldn’t get, mainly coz I was 10 and who the heck has that money at 10 for those kicks?!? Certainly not in those times. So I promised myself that one day, if I got the chance to I HAD to get some. Whatever, however long it took. Always too much though. Finally now, I’ve kept that promise to 10 year old me and I have those AJs from that poster!... and it’s still all about them see through soles!!!
The shoes are top notch retro. I love Jordans and I especially love them in black/red. I have zero complaints about these.
