The Air Jordan 9 Retro Statue is a special iteration of the Jordan 9 silhouette. It features a ‘statue’ colorway which takes inspiration from the bronze statue of Michael Jordan erected in Chicago outside the United Center. It is a high-top silhouette and features a white upper constructed from a mix of leather and nubuck. Complementing the white upper, are accents of Militia Green on the collar lining, lace eyelets and midsole, while the tongue and the heel pull tab are in black. Branding details include a tiny Jumpman on the lateral heel and another Jumpman logo with a basketball background on the heel. The shoes were first put out for retail on August 22nd, 2015, priced at $190.
