After a visit to a physio to diagnose a painful torn ligament they recommended the Aircast to help support and help prevent further injury, and so I could continue relatively normal activities whilst awaiting scans and treatment. So I looked online and found a great offer on the A60 from Health and Care. Super fast delivery ensured I could enjoy the benefit to my ankle in a couple of days and the results are amazing. I'm a wide shoe fitting but opted for the medium size for a snug support and at first was a bit concerned on the pressure to my swollen ankle... but the splint design relieved the pressure and corrected the angle of the ankle to reduce the pain, swelling and allow me to walk freely, wearing my usual footwear in comfort. I have always struggled with a collapsing ankle and having taken quite a bad fall at badminton I was unable to exercise for a few months. I had been to physio and was recommended to purchase some ankle supports. Needless to say I am impressed with these. I am fearful that my ankle will give way when changing direction, but not with these on! I purchased both as I was diagnosed with hypermobility and both ankles are affected. I cannot describe the security I feel moving around the court. The supports wrap under your foot and up both sides of you leg, meaning I can move freely and confidently. They feel odd at first but you quickly get used to it. I play tennis 3 to 4 times a week and was suffering with pain in my right ankle. I purchased the air cast A60 and it hasn’t disappointed. It is comfortable and easy enough to slip over my sock and fit inside my tennis shoe without being uncomfortable. The plastic support spine has supported my ankle through a number of games now and the pain has gone. A terrific aid for anyone with ankle problems. A great price, delivered on time sbd great quality product.

This is an outstanding product - it was recommended to me by a specialist in foot/ankle issues, he told me he uses one himself to play five a side football! I have a chronic ankle problem (35 years!) which has started to interfere with my hiking and running activities. Since buying the brace, I have been able to walk long distances (12km plus across uneven ground) and run (6km) pain free and without residual pain after exercise. That has made me very happy as previously these activities would have been accompanied by low level pain which slowly escalated. I am, of course, working with a sports physio to remediate the problem as far as I can but all I wanted to do was to be able to move - and now I can hike or run every day if I want to. This is an excellent ankle brace for rehabilitation and/or prevention from ligament injuries. It provides excellent lateral stability (protection from inversion and eversion ankle sprains) whilst not interfering with foot dorsal flexion or extension. It is light weight and comfortable and can easily been worn with trainers or other footware. I had a bad peroneal brevis tendon tear and a very unstable ankle and found that this brace gave me excellent support and ankle stability whilst waiting for surgery. ( over 9 months wait) After the surgery I've brought another one of these braces which will give me the support and confidence during rehabilitation and physiotherapy. I will carry on using this brace as protection from further injury especially if doing sports.

I was diagnosed with a nerve disorder when I was 16 years old, and have been dealing with foot drop since. Over the years, it has gotten worse I was looking on TikTok for some non bulky foot braces. This one is sooo perfect. I can wear it with most of my shoes and I noticed an immediate difference when I put it on. I will be ordering another one so I can have a back up. I've been using like a £6 Besky ankle strap thing bought online and the compression and seemingly ankle stiffening properties didn't help all the time. It stopped pains but when it came to volleyball. The only way I felt safe was feeling constant compression on my ankle and sometimes this made my foot hurt during practice and only protected me a little bit when it came to rolling my ankle which is how I injured myself in the first place. After rolling my ankle again (this time I was the victim of an foul), I decided I needed to do some proper research and find something actually recommended by professionals and the Aircast A60 has been fantastic so far. I’m in awe of this product, it works so effectively and really does prevent the ankle from rolling - holding it firmly in place. I have been able to return to playing squash wearing mine, which is no small feat and demonstrates just how secure this particular ankle brace is. Amazingly, as others have said - it’s impressively comfortable and has not hindered my movement at all. I don’t think I have ever seen such a strong Velcro strap, but given its use for sports. This makes total sense. Simply brilliant.
I’ve climbed over 800 hills in the UK, including all the Monroes Corbits and grahams having been to the Himalayas a number of times Alaska and the Andes. My latest adventure will be attempting to climb the Eiger this summer. Training and getting fitter was going well at the start of April, until I badly sprained my ankle This put my training in severe jeopardy and the plans I had for this year. I looked at possibilities with regard to rehabilitation in the ankle support. Made all the sense in the world although wasn’t sure how well it would go.
