My family cannot eat white rice and canned tuna without Furikake Rice Seasoning. So, it was a major setback to find that this Asian-American staple's price has skyrocketed from $2.48 in February 2024 to $7.50 as of March 28, 2024. Before I joined Walmart , it was the go-to item to push the shopping basket over $35 to qualify for free shipping. What would it take for Walmart to bring down the price? Do I need to start a petition collecting signatures outside my Neighborhood Walmart store?

I had purchased this item as part of the list of ingredients to make the Hawaiian Chex Mix. Mind you this was my first attempt at the Hawaiian Chex Mix. Happy to report it was a huge success! Brought a large tin pan of the mix to the office pot luck……CLEANED OUT!

Furikake is an Old Old Japanese Food Tradition. I lived in Japan for a few years when I was a child of 4. I'm now 60 and I wish Walmart.com would start carrying one of every kind that exists! Not sure why they don't.

Have you ever tried this on eggs or popcorn?! Game changer!! I find myself grabbing for it just to give breakfast or snacks that extra spice of life. Sprinkle on ramen to make a delicacy.
The product is 5 stars and I love to add it to my rice for better taste and texture. However, it will be perfect if the glass bottle can be made reusable and have a larger family size so that we don't have to throw it away every time and feel guilty about it
It was a few days late. No big deal. The spoon in the picture doesn’t match the one sent. So won’t be ordering this one again. Just the seasoning itself next time.
Love this stuff! I go through it so quick. It’s great for sushi bowls, noodles, rice, etc. only thing I’m not loving is the price. Even though it is the cheapest one I’ve found on the Walmart site. I bought it back on July 18th, 2024 and it was only $2.55 and now a little over a month later and it’s gone up to $6.50 which is absolutely wild. Love the seasoning but I’m hating the price. Only shipping for Walmart for this was the best price I had found as I can’t find it in any stores around me except for a Trader Joe’s which is an hour from me.
The item arrived quickly and in perfect shape. The seasoning is comprised of different bits, I could identify sesame seeds and seaweed. It is a mix of earthy flavors, saltiness and a hint of sweetness. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor it added to the rice I sprinkled it on. It basically sllows you to add so much depth of flavor with a couple of shakes! I am very happy with the quality of this product!
If you are looking to add more flavor to your rice or bento boxes I highly recommend these rice seasonings! Nori Komi is dried seaweed naturally adds a slight salty flavor and white sesame seeds give a toasted nutty flavor. Just shake all over after your rice is cooked/warmed and refrigerate after, thats it!Definitely try other flavors if you enjoy this one as they are mixed with the seaweed and sesame seeds!
Thank you Walmart for having this on sale! Furikake rice seasoning is so delicious on white rice, sushi, pasta, eggs %26 buttered toast! Now I can order this from Walmart which is so much more convenient than going to my local Asian store! Plus, it's cheaper at Walmart!
