The powerful all-purpose adhesive 'Tacky Glue' is an essential basic product for every hobbyist. Because it is suitable for so many materials, it is a standard in the world of papercrafting. Many materials are difficult to glue, but for this glue it is no problem. Felt and foam, but also beads and gemstones can be glued on the spot with great ease. This glue is non-toxic, so it can also be used by children. The tube of Aleene's Tacky Glue is marked on the tip, so you can enlarge the opening in two different sizes as you wish. This big tube has a large capacity, which makes it easy to use in larger portions. It is also easy to squeeze, so you can dose exactly how much glue needs to come out. This makes Tacky Glue very suitable for hobbies, but also for domestic use. Suitable for all materials This all-purpose adhesive lives up to its name, and is suitable for virtually all materials. It is very suitable for felt, foam, paper, but also wood, ceramics, metal and non-washable fabrics. Any glue residue can be wiped off with water and some soap before it dries. After a drying time of about two hours the white colour has disappeared and has dried transparent. The Tacky Glue then remains flexible, which makes it so good for use with textiles (this glue is not suitable for fabrics that need to be machine washed, such as clothing). For light materials such as paper and textiles, use a thin layer of glue, which can be spread with a brush to form an even layer everywhere. Heavier materials such as metal, wood and earthenware require a thicker layer. Some materials are more difficult to stick by themselves. You can fix these with a clamp, while the Tacky Glue dries for 30 to 45 minutes. Then remove the clamp and the materials will stick!

I was getting super frustrated with my hot glue gun during graduation season. I make customized leis and use A LOT of glue to create my products. Someone suggested tacky glue so I decided to give it a try. And Omg! I love having the same glue strength but having the option to move things around and I had so many errors with hot glue which created more work. Tacky glue is now the only glue I will use for my small business! No smell, dries clear, and I love the bottle.

This stuff is awesome! It's washable but also bonds strong and holds on! To me, what it seems like is a thicker, stickier version of school glue. Less dry time and stronger adhesion. Best part is that it works on most surfaces. Because it's less 'wet', it doesn't wrinkle paper like school glue. As an added bonus, it's super affordable for the amount of glue you get. One bottle will last through many projects! Definitely recommend and will continue to purchase myself.

This product is a craft room staple! I have used it for years and find it to be a multipurpose glue that is versatile and durable. It dries in a relatively quick manner and I find that it’s thickness once itself well to placement. It’s a little challenging to open at times, but nothing is straight pin in the cap won’t fix. And when it comes to smell smell, there is none. It dries clear and holds well. you can’t beat this!

This stuff works really well for me. It has a slight scent, but nothing too strong or annoying, so it’s easy to work with. The only thing is, it can be a bit difficult to squeeze out a lot at once, but if you’re looking for something that lets you control the amount precisely, it’d be perfect for you. It dries at a good pace—not too fast, so you have time to adjust things if needed. I mainly use it for my crochet projects when I don’t feel like sewing on eyes or small details for stuffed animals, and it’s held up well. I’m planning to use it for more advanced stuff, like a book nook, since everything I’ve made with it so far has stayed solid. I’d definitely recommend it!
This is a specialty crafts glue that is wet and white when first applied, and is clear and strong when fully cured. Unlike most wet-white glues, this glue quickly becomes mildly rigid shortly after being applied. It is a favorite of crafts hobbyists, who apply the glue to two components which are to be joined in a precision relationship. The artist holds the two items together in the desired relationship and orientation, and waits patiently, with motionless fingers or tweezers, for approximately one minute. The artist is then able to carefully release the two items, which will maintain the desired relationship without further support. A much longer curing period is required for the glued joint to achieve maximum strength.I belong to a miniature crafts club in ... Tacky glue has always worked for me in craft projects but lately it outdid Gorilla glue.I bought second-hand trainers for working in the garden. But the soles came loose. Cleaned them thoroughly and applied Gorilla glue. In a few days they came apart again. Scrapped off the used glue, cleaned, reapplied Gorilla glue. Another few days - same problem. Scrapped, cleaned, then...I used Tacky glue. No problems. I think Tacky is the one glue that glues everything.
This is my go to glue, and always will be! I have tried so so so many types. And I always come back to Aileen’s. Glitter glue, barely arts, all of them just don’t seem to do as well as Aileens in my opinion. I’ve actually mixed both of those with the just to get rid of those! And those are not cheap! I do like to use smaller bottles, so I will sometimes water this down just a slight bit so that it runs through the needle a bit easier. I have been crafting for over 25 years, and not once has a project that I’ve used this glue on fallen apart. Even after 25 years! Thank you, Aileens, for making such a great affordable product!
I have always loved Tacky glue and to this day it remains my main “Go to “ when it comes to needing a glue product in my art projects. I love that it dries rather quickly and BEST ever: it dries clear. I have expanded by repertoire by adding a healthy shot to my paper mache. The Tacky glue adds another sub layer of strength to the work, allowing for extra protection against harm to the piece. Win, win situation. I believe too that it helps prevent the formation of any mold infestations while the work is drying. Go forth and play with this great product.
Aleene's Original Tacky Glue: I am a botanical artist and I make flowers with dozens of small pieces. Like putting a puzzle together. Aleene's works perfectly to attach the pieces. Unlike other liquid glue which is more moist and a bit slippery, Aleene's is more adhesive and helps the piece stick and stay immediately when placed, then dries clean. Then quickly move on to the next application. A must for delicate crafting! The bottle has a nice pointed tip opening for targeted application with a lift off replaceable lid for storage. The product comes in different sizes and formulas to accommodate your particular needs. I like the travel size Aleene's Original Tacky Glue because it's small and easy to use. (See photos below).
This glue doesn't hold. It took nearly 48 hours to dry on a small project. I waited another day to see if my items were glued yet, it pulled right apart! I tried it again on another project glueing fabric to a picture frame. This didn't hold up either. I made two frames, one with mod podge and this glue. Mod podge held and also fixed the initial project. I was totally disappointed with this product! I've also used the other glue by this brand for sewing. It's supposed to be something you could use instead of sewing a seam for example. It does not work either! If you're thinking of trying this product, please save your money.
