I love this thing, it looks cool on the stove top and it makes amazing coffee. closest thing Ive found to an espresso machine with none of the headaches that come with an espresso machine.

I love my Alessi Pulcina coffee maker. This stove top model is perfect for morning cups of caffeine. It has a simple, user friendly design, so even the most sleep deprived can get their morning brew started. It is beautifully designed, and I get comments and compliments on it whenever someone enters my kitchen. (it is deliberately left out for decorative purposes when not in use) While it is a bit on the pricey side, it makes a perfect cup of coffee every time and enough to share or to have multiple servings. Its a breeze to clean as well. I've had mine for just about a year, and no complaints! Love it!

Alessi Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker -6 Cup.

Firstly this coffee maker as expected from Alessi looks stylish and futuristic. It is essentially a 'piece of art' for the kitchen. It deserves to be displayed and not hidden away in a cupboard!! It not only looks great but works well. It is easy to use, easy to clean and brews a wonderful cup of espresso. The handle sits easily and feels secure when pouring. It is also not too heavy when pouring. This is a highly recommended stylish product and worth every penny.

Great coffee, with a few annoying quirks

Overall my mokapot of choice, Would strongly recommend. However, for me it is a one-cup maker: makes one strong Americano with added hot water. Don't know how anyone would get 3 espressos from it. Sometimes hard to get to function on my induction hob, but not sure whether this is the pot or the hob - think it's the pot. Otherwise a perfect, stylish, solid product. Expensive, but built to last.

I always wanted to try brew my own coffee in somewhat an old fashion way.Bought this set and channeled the inner boujee-ness of mine every morning when I brew the coffee.Holding my illy cup, staring out the window, take a sip, exhale and smile. Now what I need is a Jack Dawson in my life.

Have to put it in a saucepan

My Daughter bought it as a Christmas gift and it's very attractive but didn't work on a very expensive Siemens induction hob, so I put it in a saucepan and it did the job, bit disappointing but can only assume it's a bit small for the hob to recognise. Wonder if you can buy a sort of flat plate to put it on. But for those in the same boat do the above and it works. My pleasure 😇

Induction coffee maker did not work on Induction.

The Induction coffee Pulcina Espresso did NOT work on my induction hotplate. I have another Moka Induction coffee pot about the same size that does work on my induction hotplate so it was extremely disappointing to have this induction coffee pot fail to work.

I’ve had this for a couple years and it’s the best espresso coffee maker I’ve owned. Great flavor, I would purchase again. Really sturdy, nice design and it is the first espresso that I have not burned the handle.

Not for induction!

I really really wish I'd read the previous reviews - this does not work on induction as described.It is absolutely stunning but doesn't work.I have a John Lewis own brand induction hob, brand new. Sadly the base of the espresso maker is not wide enough to activate the induction and therefore you get 'f' for fail.I'm very disappointed!

Stylish coffee pot

My husband asked me to order this for him. He has many coffee pots but loved the stylish design. Works really well but only seems to make one cup of coffee. I think it would make three expresso cups of coffee but definitely not 3 normal cups. For this reason my husband was a little disappointed and wished he had brought the larger version but other than that he is very happy with this funky coffee pot to add to his collection.
