I browned my pork chops some on the oven top and finished cooking them in the oven. It makes less dishes because I didn’t have to brown them ,then have to put in another pan to just cooked them the rest of the way in the oven. My family said they were the best chops they ever had, it cooked them evenly. They came out tender the way we like them.It’s recommended to not use a dishwasher on them. The good thing is that it was a breeze to hand wash the pan. I didn’t have to do any crazy scrubbing to clean it. I bought this piece a few months ago because I needed a wide mouthed pan with a flat base that can hold larger quantities of food. I was extremely happy to find this tri-ply construction with a double-handle as I am switching all my cookware from nonstick to stainless steel tri-ply. While I love the size and shape of the pan, every time I use it foods sticks and sticks badly. I have used low heat, high heat, medium heat- all with same results. I have heated the pan using the water bead method to make sure I was at the right temperature before cooking. I have kept the heat on low to medium low and eventually food still sticks. So I bought this pan for it size and look. I have used many pan and pot sets . This 3 qt pan has been great. It cleans up easily with just some Soap and water . I have not had any brown spotting when used on the largest burner . I have not seen any issues where food sticks. I have tested with many different meals. So far I have had no complaints. This was my first time trying All-clad brand. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a universal 3 Qt stainless steel pan.

The pan itself looks amazing, is a perfect size when cooking for 2-4 people, and is super versatile. I also love the two-handle design of the universal pans, it makes them easy to carry and move around, especially if you need to put it in the oven. I shouldn't have to do this every time I cook. I am not sure if I just got a dud pan, since most other reviewers do not seem to have this issue, but it's pretty disappointing. I would probably still buy other All Clad products in the future, but this wasn't the best first experience. Hopefully other products do not have this issue.
I purchase this as a birthday gift for my friend. We both love to cook for our family and friends. I have a similar sloped sided pan and this was missing in her kitchen pans. It does everything you can imagine. The 2 side handles allow from stove or oven to table and don't take up room on a busy stove. I have several pieces of All-Clad, some easily near 20 years old. Built to last. Great investment and well worth the money.
All clad D3 pan is a rock solid three ply pan for your cooling needs. Its definitely a heavy pan with generous cooling surface area that heats up quickly and it great for saute your meats and vegetables. Its aluminum and is pf top notch quality. I cooled my steak on this pan and with a little bit of butter I got a perfectly cooked steak. It was also easy to clean. Its dish washer safe too but I recommend hand washing as it doesnt take much. If you are looking for a great pan that will hold good for years, this is the pan. Lifetime guarantee on the pan is great too.

The sloped sides make it easy to get utensils and to flip things. You can quickly and easily sear two portions of protein while maintaining temperature. But the pan is physically capable of holding about 6 portions/servings. The pan is thick which helps with maintaining temperature and the box makes it seem like it will work with an induction surface (but I don’t have that, I use gas.)Because there is no non-stick coating, you do not need to worry about overheating the pan. The high temperature allows you to put an amazing sear on things. Yes, the pan will have stuff stuck to it and that stuff is pure flavor. To release it, you can just put in a moist vegetable or make a jus/gravy with it.When you pull this pan out of the box, you will understand how great it is. This is a great high quality pan. I did a seared salmon and finished it in the oven. It was excellent, the crisp crust it made on top was perfection. I can take this pan right to the oven or put under the broiler to finish off what I'm cooking. A big plus for me. Even though it says you can put it in the dishwasher I would never do that with a quality pan like this. I definitely would recommend this pan. The height is just right for many things. It’s so easy to clean and perfect to cook with!
I got the All-Clad Universal Pan a couple weeks ago. I could not be more impressed with this pan! It’s so versatile- I can use it for quick one-pan meals through the week that go from sautéing and seating to finishing up in the oven. Not only that, but it’s large enough to accommodate a large meal with various types of protein and vegetables. I don’t have issues with burning the food in the middle while the food around the edges are raw, as there is even heat around the entire pan. Very pleased with this pan!!
