I love sauciers vs traditional style sauce pans. I have been looking for one in 4qt. This one is great quality and I was very tempted to keep it, but I have 3qt and 5.5qt and this one was almost the same size as the 5.5qt. I could not justify it for the cost.

Recently purchased for the wife, she loves it! Heats evenly and cleanup is a breeze! She has been wanting, and I have been searching for, a lidded pan with high sides with a flared edge to make pouring easier. With a pan of this capacity, a second means of support is necessary and this is provided and is an easy grip. Very pleased with our purchase, thanks so much!
I have used All-Clad for many years and have been exceptionally pleased with your cookware. This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen and I’m very impressed with the versatility and design of my new pan. My husband is also inspired to try using it for his favorite recipes. I foresee this being an essential part of my food preparation.
This is one incredibly beautiful pan that I simply had to have after seeing it on display at Williams-Sonoma. Perfect for so many different cooking tasks. I've used it for deep & shallow frying, whisking together sauces, tossing it in the oven, and even boiling certain foods. The essential pan is a workhorse and it is quickly becoming a "go-to" in my kitchen.
Good heat control, good for carbonara and sauces. Also great for one pot meals, I am a messy cook and the size allows me to rush around the kitchen and stir quickly without spilling. It’s a pretty heavy pan so won’t be easy to pour from. Great for soups, sauces, whisking, and most kitchen tasks.
I’ve had this pan for a few weeks now and I’m in love with it. I live alone and my cooking became repetitive, so I subscribed to a plan that delivers its ingredients for 4 days a week, which provides some interesting flavors, etc. AND what I do each day is chop up a ton of veggies, and I use this pan to sauté them in an appropriate sequential order.So I end up with a huge pan full of deliciously sautéed vegetables, then the flavorings vary as I contribute the “planned meal ingredients”.This makes for a wonderful dinner every day, and I find myself eating the second portion at 3 am or for breakfast.My diet has definitely improved using this method.
