Have had this pot for several months now. Very happy with the outcome of everything cooked in it. One great thing is that when I put spaghetti noodles in they fit totally. No waiting for ends to get soft to get them all in. Soups, stews, everything has turned out great. No sticking problems of any kind. I have no issues with the design of this stock/soup pot at all. Weight keeps it in place when I stir. Much safer than another brand I had that nearly slid off the front of the stove when stirring thick chili. Highly recommend.

This pot is the answer to winter, soups, stews, and sauces! The pot itself is not heavy or awkward to manage, and it is big enough to fit a whole chicken and vegetables for stock. I asked myself if I really needed another pot, and I’m delighted that the answer was yes!

This cookware has vertical sides for easier cooking and serving. I cook supper as a multi tasker- I can stir and add to pot. I stir too fast so I can knock little bit out of the pan; yes I have a messy stovetop. I get cooking done and place the lid on top to stage supper. Love the glass lid so I can keep an eye on supper while get the rest finished for supper. Love this pan with short lift handles so stores on lazy susan well. Handles was first love.

I bought this pot to finish out the All-Clad ® Essentials Non-Stick 10-Piece Set I'd purchased a month or so prior. So far I HIGHLY recommend all of these All-Clad pieces. They warm up very quickly and hold their heat. I find I actually have to turn the burner down because the pots are so efficient. This pot is the perfect size for pasta & soups. The whole set cleans-up well and looks great. I use several of them daily. LOVE them so far.
Bought 2.5 & 3.5 qt. sauce pans & 8 qt. Stock pot in the HA1 nonstick line on sale during recent factory sale. Stock pot has indented lip on inside edge but lid still sat perfectly and doesn’t affect performance at all. I love the glass lids so I can see how my food is cooking and especially love that I can clean this pot either by hand or in dishwasher without any damage or dulling to exterior finish. Highly recommend HA1 pots and pans if you’re a home cook who likes to use non-stick cookware.
Nice soup pot, perfect size for up to four people. Cleanup is a breeze. It comes out beautifully clean after going through the dishwasher. The only drawback is that we use it with an induction cooktop and it heats water slowly compared to other designs. I suspect this happens because there isn't much mass in the stuck-on induction baseplate. The D3 stainless steel AllClad pots have more steel mass to work with induction and therefore heat water much more quickly than the HA1 pots.
I LOVE the size of this pot! It is just perfect for cooking so many things - like boiling corn on the cob, fresh green beans, steaming broccoli, just to name a few and it will see a lot of use this winter when we really get back to cooking inside. It has become a real ?go to? for me plus the double handles make it so easy for my arthritic fingers to handle!
We got this pot in one of All-Clad's sets and NONE of the lids fit into it (SEE PHOTO), so the pot itself was incorrectly made since those same lids fit into the other equally-sized pans. In fact, all the lids would just pop out of this thing, not settling in nicely.All-Clad's notoriously-terrible customer service proved true. They first made me send pics, but then emailed back some boilerplate nonsense saying I need to treat the pot right, lol... IT WAS NEW.I had to then ship it to them (they paid) and wait 3-4 weeks for my pot to come back. Well, oh boy did it come back...The lid had a purposeful or accidental dent in it (SEE PHOTOS) and DIDN'T FIT THE SAME POT I JUST SENT THEM. I love the all clad bake wear and this 8 qt soup pot is great. Cleans easily and size is perfect for bigger soups or meals. Only thing I’m not certain about is the how the pot busts out at the bottom (pear shaped), making it bigger than most of my stove top burners. Fits best on my largest burner but that’s usually reserved for my sauté dish when cooking.
I had an idea that I would like this pot, But in fact I love!!It's great shape allows me to use it on the back burner with a large pan on the front burner. I really appreciate the glass lid. It is my go to for all soups and it boils corn very nicely too. My collard greens came out perfect. I love the nonstick surface, cleaning is a breeze. Very very happy with this purchase!!
