Good set. Received as a wedding gift summer of 2022. We have a few items that already have scratches on the bottom of the pans. We only use soft rubber/silicone or wooden utensils - which are recommended by All-clad. We even use pot protectors between each pot just to be safe. It's disappointing for how much this set cost and makes me worried that this set will not last for as long as one would hope. Disappointment.

I have used All Clad for many years. This is my first All-Clad nonstick set with glass lids (Essentials Nonstick Saucepan set, 4-Piece, Grey), purchased on Amazon. I bought these about three months ago to replace an older set of nonstick pots (Macy's brand) also with glass lids that I've used for almost 15 years. I've only used my brand new All Clad nonstick pots maybe a handful (8 to 10) times, usually for reheating soups and sauces. They are not used daily and I do take good care of them when I have used them. So today, I was reheating soup uncovered in the 4.5 qt pot on my gas stove, then turned off the heat and covered the pot with its glass lid. About three minutes later, my daughter was in the kitchen next to the stove and heard a loud "pop." She found that ... MoreI have used All Clad for many years. Still, I threw away the soup because I couldn't be sure that micro glass fragments did not end up in the soup.

Scratches like tin foil. All Clad reps are adamant that it's user error. I have been cooking over 50 years. Only hand wash my dishes and cookware. Used a couple of times and the bottom is scratched HORRIBLY!! They won't hear it, continues to say it's user error. Why would such high-end cookware scratch like tin foil? I NEVER use hard or abrasive materials on the inside or outside. Totally disappointing!!! ALL CLAD STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT.

Disappointed not under worthless warranty
30 June 2024

I purchased 2 of these sets, one in January of 2024, and the other May of 2023 for 2 different homes. Where I hardly use either set. I only use wooden spoons or silicone utensils to stir the food. I hand wash and never put in the dishwasher. They are all scratched and there is a cracking of the surface. I contacted All-Clad within 3 months called and sent photos. They said this is normal wear and tear and not under their warranty. I should throw both sets out. I wouldn't even want a replacement set. I will never buy All-Clad again. Very very disappointed in the product and customer service.

Does not hold up.
12 July 2024

The only thing exceptional about all-clad is the price. They do not stand up to every day wear and better than less costly cookware. I made the mistake of purchasing all-clad at a hefty price. Now I will replace them with a different brand. Just does not hold up.No metal utensils were ever used and always hand washed. Very disappointed in their performance. They do not last.

Great high quality set
12 August 2019

This is the perfect set of cookware. It comes with all the essential cookware that you would need to cook any meal. It comes with six different sized pans, three glass lids, two silicone trivets and one multi purpose strainer. The pans have a non stick surface with two metal handles on each side. Having the two metal handles makes it very easy to carry especially when it’s heavy. The dark gray anodised outside and the metal handles also really compliment each other and looks great. These are very high quality pans that are built to last for years. Everything from the pans to the lids feels heavy duty. Clean up with this cookware is easy. The silicone trivets can be used in between the cookware when storing them to prevent scratches or as hot pads.

I am so happy with these pans
20 September 2020

These pans are great. They clean up like a dream, I did season them before using. Have only had then for about 2 months so can't attest to longevity. The square pan is great for cooling pancakes for a small family, can do 6 small or 6 pieces of french toast. THe big covered pan can be washed in my standard sized sink but holds 6 chicken thighs comfortably. The set is very well designed. The whole thing except for stock pot and strainer/steamer stack in a small space and if you use the grey trivets, they should not scratch. Steamer basket works great for steamed buns, reviving frozen broccoli or just steamed vegis.2 things I wish-the screws on the pans are not nonstick and the lids do not fit the 2 smaller skillets. Nothing is perfect but if these stand the test ... MoreThese pans are great. They clean up like a dream, I did season them before using. Meets all my needs
13 August 2019

This is such a beautiful set of cookware. Perfect amount of pans and pots to fit all my needs for cooking. It is so well designed and looks so high end. The cookware heats up even and fast on my gas range stove. It has cooked all of my dishes perfectly with no worries of burning or charring involved. I have used every single piece for my daily use of cooking, I especially like the square pan because I was able to cook four grilled cheese on it while my homemade tomato soup was simmering in the pot next to it. I like the insert strainer that fits perfectly in the big pot and makes straining pasta or potatoes so much easier. It says that it is dishwasher safe but I have only hand washed since I want to prolong the longevity of my cookware. Although I haven't used it yet, it does state that the cookware is oven safe up to 500 degrees which makes it perfect for finishing a steak in the oven or topping pasta with cheese and then melting it in the oven. This cookware is so well made I see it lasting longer than any of my previous cookware which I usually replaced every 1-2 years. I also like the lifetime warranty that comes with it!

Non stick coating slowly deteriorating.
16 February 2023

We bought a full set of All Clad Non Stick cookware at the request of a chef that made meals in our home for several months. We purchased these from Bed Bath & Beyond along with teflon whisks, spatulas, and spoons to preserve the cookware. Although it clearly stated they were dishwasher safe we have only hand washed since day one. I believe there was a lifetime warranty on the product but can’t find any documents to back that up. BB&B no longer carry in our area and I’m trying to ascertain if we can make a claim on this?

Ok but replacing
18 May 2024

I’ve had this cookware for about 2 years or less and I’m replacing it. I contacted All-clad because the big fry pan burns in the middle as if the pan is not even. Apparently I overheated the pan causing it to discolor and stick. This has never happened to me before. I don’t know if it’s because I’m new to electric cooking but for the price of this set it shouldn’t be doing this. Besides this the pans are a good size but they are on the heavy side and brace yourselves as the handles get very hot.
