Tie-out cables give your dog the chance to romp and roam without being tethered to you, but your dog would much rather spend time with their pack than be left alone. Use tie-outs for limited amounts of time and with vigilant supervision. Provide ample shade and water. Be mindful of outdoor conditions and surroundings that may cause your dog to get tangled up. Select a site that is free of all obstacles. 2. Screw in the stake until the swivel is within 2.5 cm (1") off the ground. 3. Use with a All Day Free to Flex Tie-Out Cable that does not exceed this stake's weight limit. 4. Check the condition of the dog's collar and hardware before use. If the collar is older or beginning to show signs of wear, do not use with a tie-out. 5. Attach one of the tie-out clasps to the stake or swivel ring. 6. Attach the other clasp on the metal D-ring on the dog's collar.
