1st pair of my 20+ pair of Allbird shoes that I don't absolutely LOVE!`

I have been buying Allbirds (19 pairs), and telling all my friends about them, since the Companies inception. The pair of Men's Tree Flyers - Natural Black (Blizzard Sole) - 13.5 I purchased back in May 2023 have "Squeaked" incessantly since I first tried them on. The shoe is comfortable, but the noise has become such an issue I rarely wear them because of the annoying sound they make with every step (in both shoes). I have been planning on sending an email to see if I can exchange them for another pair, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Then this morning I received the review request and decided to take the time to make you aware. I would be very interested in someone reach out to me to explore possible options.

Love them overall. Like that they have toe support now and extra padding around the ankle for support and comfort. Like that the tow box is still wide but they seem a touch tighter than the 1.0 flyers. Don’t make them any more narrow please.Only complaints - wish you kept the simple A logo on the back like the tree runners have. You need some consistency in your branding and I want to show off what I’m wearing in a subtle way. The circle with carbon number should be on the bottom or inside. NOT a focus point. You guys are too afraid to show your logo and it’s nice looking and people want to show they are supporting a good company. Amazing shoes, would buy on

Amazing shoes, would buy on repeat for the comfort, but unfortunately the soles are made from a material that only lasts a wear or two before starting to disintegrate and peels away. Especially at the heel. This can’t be happening for a shoe that claims to be a runner. The sole also absorbs moisture and starts to go off-colour very quickly and can’t be wiped clean. Not ideal when you can only get the sole in white. If you sorted the sole, would be one of the great shoes.

Fantastic all purpose shoes!
8 September 2023

I would like to start off by saying that I have never owned a pair of allbirds before I bought these so I cannot compare these to any other allbirds style shoes. I got these as general purpose activities shoes (shoes I could do pretty much anything in) and for that I think they work great! They have a very sock-like fit and are fairly tight to put on, but with the pull straps on the shoe its pretty easy. They are very bouncy and lightweight making them great for walking or some jogging. They have a good ground feel and are just fun to wear. The only reason this gets 4 stars for me and not 5 is while they are great shoes and you CAN run in them, I would not say that these would be my ideal choice for specific running shoes. Great Shoe But Still Too Narrow For Me
7 September 2023

I was really looking forward to these shoes. I had previously tried on a few pairs in an Allbirds store but found them too narrow. But over the last year or so, I had read reviews and articles that mentioned the Tree Runners and Flyers were the widest Allbirds models. So when I got an email with this color choice in a Tree flyer, I decided this was the perfect opportunity. The look and color (Blizzard/Azure) are beautiful, and I really, really wanted to love them. But there are two sizing issues: narrow width and pointed toe. Measuring my feet using one of the Brannock devices found in shoe stores, I am a solid medium D width, but these shoes were too constricting. Plus, when I looked down at my feet, I realized that instead of a rounded toe box, as all my other ... MoreI was really looking forward to these shoes. Measuring my feet using one of the Brannock devices found in shoe stores, I am a solid medium D width, but these shoes were too constricting. Plus, when I looked down at my feet, I realized that instead of a rounded toe box, as all my other shoes have, they were somewhat pointed, looking like a pair of dress shoes. Looking at images on the web site, this is apparent, especially compared to the Tree Runners, which have a more typical rounded toe. Had this color choice been available in the runners, I would have tried a pair of those. With the shoes on, the underfoot feel was wonderful—just firm enough to give excellent balance and stability but with enough cushioning to please any runner. But if I were not walking or running, I would kick these off as soon as possible; they are just too constricting to be an all-day shoe. I’m giving them 4 stars because they are a great-looking, well-made shoe that will please most people with narrow feet. But for those with medium to wide feet, I’m skeptical that Allbirds would be acceptable. I was very disappointed, as I had really wanted a pair of Allbirds as I have been very impressed with the company for years, but I had to return them.

I bought these shoes to
29 March 2024

I bought these shoes to replace the previous Forage Tan shoes i bought some time ago because the previous shoes were stained through use.I did not appreciate these replacements were from a different last and I find them too narrow and cramp my toes. They are not comfortable. it took a couple of days wearing them before I found out and now feel I cannot return them. They are also quite loose in places and I feel are not a good a fit as the previous style. The uppers bunch up and look unsightly.

Men’s Tree Flyer 2. Botanic Red
16 April 2024

This shoe feels like an old original design . It’s almost impossible to get into. The opening is far too small and requires a shoehorn. The pull tabs front and back are of very little help . Once the entry is accomplished the fit feels solid and comfortable . I would not purchase this model again . No shoe should be this difficult to put on .

Not Horrible, But Not Worth the Price
4 June 2022

I’ve owned 4 different pairs of Allbirds, all 4 of them different types. I love Allbirds and I continue buying from them because they are an environmentally conscious company. That being said, I was super excited when I saw this series come out. I ordered them and was very impressed with how quickly the order shipped. Unfortunately, I’ve only had them for about a week and they are already showing signs of wear. The sharp edges at the bottom of the shoe are very cool looking, but mine are definitely wearing down already. I’m not rough on my shoes at all, it’s just inevitable in this design. Also, there is a spot on the front of the shoe where it is clearly visible that my toe is wearing down the cloth of the top of the shoe. My last pair of Allbirds did this as well, but it took close to a year for that to happen. I keep my toenails trimmmed and filed but that doesn’t seem to matter in this case.Overall, the shoes are very comfortable and I love how they look, but they are NOT designed to last. Being the most expensive mens’ shoes on this site, and that they are running shoes, they should be far tougher than this.

Unlike some of their lifestyle
15 January 2024

Unlike some of their lifestyle shoes that I feel run bigger and I typically go a half size down. This one feels more snug and true to fit. This may also be that when you run your feet swell up.As a a pair of runners they are more cushioned than what I am used to but somehow also feel very light. I am not Nostradamus but I feel like these shoes will work really well for your first few kms but maybe will wear quicker than other shoes. However for now it’s 5 stars since initially they feel great, light and snug.

Very disappointed
18 August 2024

Possibly the worst shoes that all birds have ever come up with. The soles of the shoes wore through within three months of use on footpath and road surfaces and then shortly after that what remained of the sole came loose and fell off. Since all birds establishment, I have bought five pairs of shoes, ranging from casual every day shoes through to these. The first series of wool runners were amazing, in fact, I still wear the first pair I bought. The soles have worn down and the toe has started to come loose but I’ve been wearing them almost daily for years. Wouldn’t buy another pair of these types of shoes.
