I usually use fresh yeast from a supermarket but it is sometimes a hassle to get it I have to travel 20 miles round trip. Because it ferments so well I only need to use one teaspoon per 1 and half Kilo bag of flour.

I make bread pretty much everyday so buying theses 10 yeasts for such a good price has definitely saved me money. The yeast always works, I never have had a bread not rise. The dates are long lasting also. Arrived quickly and packaged well.

I normally use Allinsons Easybake yeast as thats all I can get in our local supermarket. The Dried Active yeast takes less than half the time to do its initial rise in my bread dough just under an hour compared with 2 hours. Takes a little under an hour for the second rise too compared to an hour plus. It is more consistent than the easybake, which I found variable in its rise times.A real time saver in the morning. I also think it tastes better too. Great to be able to bulk buy.

I have used this before, previously purchased from our local supermarkets but to get 10 delivered at such a bargain price is fantastic. I use it in my bread maker and providing you allow the yeast to mix in with cooled previously boiled water water that has had sugar added and allow the fermentation process commence the yeast mix works really well on short as well as the 3 or 4 hr cycle etc.

Good old fashioned dried yeast. You can use just what you need by the spoonful rather a sachet. If you use it in place of fast acting yeast you need to reduce the amount of liquid for the recipe by the amount used to activate the yeast. Very economical.

As I make a lot of bread it pays me to buy multiple lots. This pack of 10 will last me a few months and I do like the Allison Active Dried Yeast which I cant always get at my local supermarket because it always seems to make bread with a good crumb, crust and taste. What more can you ask for.

High Quality Yeast. A must for all Bakers !

Great Quality Yeast. Very good size tin 125g, I use how much I need, then reseal it with the handy plastic cap that comes with the tin and store in the Fridge, which helps maintain the freshness of the product. Gives a great rise, smell and taste. Made Bread, Bread Rolls and Pizza with this and all turned out amazing. I am just a novice baker but I think it was the fact that I was using a good quality product that helped !

Home made bread just got better!

Great value, I was pretty sure it was the cheapest of its kind on eBay at the time of purchase. Great quality, factory sealed and a long shelf life as stated in the listing. An excellent product when used, I bought it for my mum and she really knows how to make bread. This product made a noticeable difference to the results achieved, her latest batch was as fluffy and delicious as I've ever known it to be.
