Unit out of the box had an extremely tight displayport socket which caused damage to two different existing cables that have worked perfectly with every other display port socket I've ever used.The adapter is recognised by Windows as a 'USB billboard' and Android as a chargeable device, but fails to succesfully pass a video signal out the other side of the adapter.I tested this on multiple USB C devices and Displays and no combination could detect a display at all, let alone successfully output a signal. Have been using this for months and works great. Same amazing quality as all the ALOGIC products. Have been using with my Macbook Air and it even works with a displayport to HDMI adapter connected.

Great quality. Didn’t work for my application. But not the fault of the product. I was trying to convert USB-C to DP then DP to HDMI (i was being lazy with a heavily cable managed desk). Ended up using Alogic USB-C to HDMI cables, they work great.

Great quality. Didn’t work for my application. But not the fault of the product. I was trying to convert USB-C to DP then DP to HDMI (i was being lazy with a heavily cable managed desk). Ended up using Alogic USB-C to HDMI cables, they work great.
Plug and play! Using it to connect my Dell laptop and monitor. Works well!
The overall quality of this product is not great, the cable failed to work in just 2 weeks time. Shouldn't buy a brand never heard about.
lasted 2 days connecting my htc vive pro to my razer laptop, now it works for 5 minutes before black screening, get a better adapter.
