This was the second cable I tried from Office Depot to connect my laptop to a monitor and it didn't work. I ended up buying a different brand from a different store that was cheaper and it works fine.

I bought this recently and it doesn't work properly. When it is plugged into a monitor it glitches and the screen flickers and goes into the wrong position eg: the bottom of the screen is at the top. and flickering green lines and dots appear all over the screen. It takes about 14 tries of unplugging the cable and plugging it back in to make it work. But when it is connected some full screen games make it go weird again and it also flickers occasionally. I have borrowed another cable and tried it and it works fine. Some of the time it works fine but other times it doesn't. It might be faulty but I will return it and get a different cable of the same brand soon and I will post an update if it worked or didn't work soon.

It worked with no issues at all. I tried several other brands this one is the best
Works as intended. No drop outs or flickering. Has an operating light on the hdmi end to confirm it has power. A bit dear but you get what you pay for.
I've tried this adapter on 3 monitors and 2 computers and has only worked twice. And when it does work it flickers and gives a horrible resolution. Would not recommend, spend the extra $10-$20 and get a decent one. ALOGIC not a good brand!!!!!

On Tuesday 24th January 2023 I bought this recently and it doesn't work properly. When it is plugged into a monitor it glitches and the screen flickers, which hurts my eyes also the cable gets hot to touch
Too pricy for the quality, I would just go with Apple original in the future.Frustrating as it started having issues with the contacts from a few weeks after I bought it.Now, if I am lucky it works once every 100 times I try to get the angle right and plug it in in a specific way. Such a PAIN!I can't recommend this product at all.
Was perfect to connect my screen to my brand new MacBook Air. Admittedly I didn’t know which cable I needed, so I’m very grateful to the super helpful man from the customer service call centre who suggested this product.
