Cleans well but definitely doesn't improve hair colour as suggested. I bought this product to increase the overall darkness of my brown hair and also darken the greys, but even after using it daily and leaving it on for longer the results are exactly the same. Very disappointing indeed!

I'm a woman who has a itchy cyst on my scalp and I had a big bald patch from excess itching so I started using this and the results are amazing! I think it only works where there are still follicles and with early hair loss? ( I just read somebody saying it doesn't work I disagree)I'm not even sure women should use it tbh? Buy I'm ecstatic with the results just wish it wasn't so expensive but compared to other similar products on the market it's less than half their prices

Gently tones down grey to a more natural looking colour. I use it every day and have noticed the grey changing to a subtle more natural looking colour. Does not look harsh or artifical.

I used to use Alpecin Caffeine shampoo along with the Liquid Energiser. However for the last year as my hair has become greyer I've turned to the Tuning Shampoo. There's a subtle change which is enough to make me happy, and I continue to use the Liquid Energizer for that extra caffeine boost to keep my hair from thinning. So if you're thinning and greying I would definitely recommended. Oh and the shampoo is very concentrated and last a long time, you only need a small amount.
I could not believe it! Two days, yes 2 days after I started using this I stopped picking loads of hair off my detangling comb. Wow! How is this even possible? I will ensure I never run out of Alpecin Tuning Shampoo
Used 5/6 bottles now over a year and I think placebo effect of thickening of my hair might have worked but this has zero effect on greys coming through. I’ve tried rinsing it normally and then rinsing minimally to make sure product still in your hair but make no difference to the greys. I have ordered more but only because I want to research other products before trying them
Bought this for colour but stay with it because of results. Leaves my hair fuller, thicker and easier to manage. Colour effect is barely noticeable after a few months, but not dramatic. If you're grey you're still going to look grey especially at the sides.

I tried a few other brands but this shampoo is all I ever wanted, honestly! It stimulates your scalp while washing (you can feel the tingling effect / cooling effect) and it gradually darkens your shade. You can use it time to time just to keep the shade radiant, not ashy, if you use this shampoo every time you wash your hair you will definitely see a stronger shade on your colour. Not sure the tinting element has any effect. It might slightly darken some hair but it has negligible effect on greys. It is more expensive than the non-tinting version so probably best to stick to that instead.
I bought this for my husband who wants to make his grey hair less grey but not so much that he looks like he's dyed it.So bought this and it has some pigment in and has made a real difference. But looks quite subtle. I suspect that after using for a few weeks he will only use it every other wash in case the colour starts to become more intense.Very good and highly recommend.
