I bought this cleanser on the recommendation of The Skimm newsletter. There were no reviews so I was a bit worried. I have struggled for years to find a decent facial cleanser and moisturizer. Especially when I need to wear a mask, my face breaks out and dries out. I LOVE this cleanser! I usually put it on and wait several minutes before washing off. My skin feels great and after just a week has cleared up. I didn't change my moisturizer, just this. It is smooth going on, feels good and it only takes a small amount. I have found my forever cleanser!

I am not a fan of undisclosed use of this kind of ingredient. I had looked at their website, and it takls a lot about sustainability, but this first ingredient is a big problem, and clashes with messaging about the product and brand that are 'cruelty free' - but thats just marketing lingo, not a proper standard. I was curious to try a balm cleanser. I've been using Alpha-H products for over a year now and they really suit my skin. I have sensitive skin, however my skins responds very well to active ingredients. I purchased this product and I love it. It does what it says it will, melts the day off your face, and you don't need a lot of product, it goes a long way. It has a slight natural orange aroma which is beautiful. My skin feels super soft and very hydrated. This is now part of my skin routine.

For the price of this I expected a lot more. The first time I used it I had to double cleanse with it and even then it did not even come close to removing the eyeliner from my lids, even with a damp cloth and hard work trying to remove it. I had to do a third cleanse with my usual balm (a well known Korean brand) and it took off the eyeliner with ease as it always does. The second time I used this I was wearing only light mascara and it struggled to remove that, I went over my eyes with a cotton ball soaked in micellar water after the cleanse and it picked up lots of leftover mascara. The cleansing balm I normally use is less than half the price for a larger tub, and it actually works unlike this balm! So I will be going back to that. Seriously disappointed.
Okay, I am the type of person to not review something unless I either LOVE IT or I am not a fan. This product is AMAZING!!!! I think everyone should do a pre cleanse at night time to remove makeup and/or stubborn SPF from the skin, then go in and cleanse with a daily cleanser that works for you. I am blown away by this product! As an esthetician I have used a lot of precleanses and this is my top favorite as of now! This melts away even waterproof mascara and lip stick with a breeze! It smells so heavenly too. I am reviewing this 24 hours after using this and it has made me have such a beautiful glow all day, as it is so nourishing to this skin. I cannot say enough good things. Please buy this if you're looking for a great precleanse! AMAZING!!!
I love to use this product if I’ve been wearing makeup or after a sweaty yoga session. My favourite way is to use it as a 10 minute mask before hopping in the shower, letting it penetrate any makeup or sweat and melting it all away leaving my face feeling soft and glowing. The products are easy to use with VERY clear and easy instructions of what to use and when. What goes with or shouldn’t be used together, which is really helpful. The formulations are lovely. They really deliver what they say they will. I’ve been using the range from the start of 2023 and have not experienced any irritation or regret for switching out my old products for this gorgeous range of helpful skincare. Beautiful products in beautiful packaging. I’m a fan!
I will never revert back to "high end" cleansers ever again. This balm melts away all make up, sun screen etc. It is a luxury to use & smells gorgeous! My skin has never (I really do mean this after suffering from cystic acne for over ten years) looked better. My complexion is clear & my face feels so soft after using this. I double cleanse afterwards with the triple action cleanser & this combination seems to be nothing short of a miracle. I can see why this keeps selling ou!
I fell in love with this product from the first use and this product has replaced all make up removing products in my skin care routine, and I can't recommend it enough. The best thing on the market!!! What make this product so good is: kind to skin - which means it doesn't strip skin from natural oils, removes all make up including eye makeup - no residue or irritation, it can be used as hydrating face mask after make up removal. Also little goes for long way and because it's balm - it's not qualified as liquid so it's good option when you're planning to travel. Love this product and I'm super thankful that we have Alpha-H skincare that is Australian and has less nasties and all the products are concentrated skincare which means products do work.
Love the product. It’s the texture and slip that makes it soo great; because of this a little product goes a long way. The scent isn’t fabulous like the Elemis cleansing balm, however it still gives a premium feel when using, I prefer this to unscented products personally. Love that you can use right up to your eyes too with no stinging at all. Use this as part of my trio cleanse at night. Micellar, cleansing balm, face wash. Perfect!
