My measurements are at the top end of the small range so I Bought the small. when I got it there was no doubt it was way too small. Sent it back, sized up to a medium and I can say this is one of the best helmets I’ve owned. It’s very light.

Bought this helmet when I got my quad. Been out riding quite a bit and this helmet is great. It is very comfortable to wear for hours and its light weight is awesome on the neck. Goggles (bought Fox Main Stray in high viz red) fit nicely and work great with the helmet. Very happy with these products. Fast shipping and very easy to deal with!!

These helmets are horribly mis-sized. They don't match the measurements they're stamped with at all. If you wear an XL or larger with any other helmets, they won't even fit your head in a 2XL. They look like they're made for children, but I can't see anywhere where it says they are children's helmets. So don't waste your time on this helmet if you use an XL normally. And everyone else probably needs to size up quite a bit from their standard size.
Bough this for 7 yr old and right out of the box it was great. He uses 100% adult goggles with no issues. He loves how cool the helmet is as he sweats a lot. He recently had a huge crash that resulted in a trip to the hospital and the Dr inspected the helmet and was very impressed with protection it offered him. Even though he had bruised a kidney and numerous hematomas he had no concussion. The next day we ordered a new identical replacement. We will continue with Alpinestar helmets as it has proven itself .
The lightest helmet I've ever had. I feel like it fits more true to size vs other helmets I've worn as well. Love it.
I bought it in the winter so I haven’t worn it for a day of riding yet but although it is nice and light,The liner is very thin. I have a pressure point at the top of my head. It is not as comfortable as I would have expected for almost $400 after taxes. The chin strap also sits awkwardly close to my neck. My 100% race craft goggles do not fit in the helmet because the face guard is very close.Unfortunately there is nowhere to try one on so I took my chances buying online.Although it is true sizing.
The liner started to fall apart after about a year. I was unable to get anywhere with customer service at Alpinestars, so can’t even buy replacement parts. This will be the last helmet that I buy from Alpinestars.

My son bought me this for Christmas and I was VERY excited. He purchased an XL that shows 24 - 24.4 inches. It was WAY too small. I could not even get my head thru plastic sides. My old helmet is an XL but the way. No problem we measured to confirm and my head is 23 inches??? No problem maybe it runs small. Ordered an XXL was excited to get it and again could not get head thru the plastic. I say this because it is not a case of the pads being tight and needing to be broke in. This shell is CRASY small. After two returns we are searching for a brand that is close o accurate in its sizing.
