Alpinestar has always had some of the best quality, on par with Dainese and Revit. The sizing is very close to spot on and will be as close to the sizing on those other two brands. This is a full featured race jacket with a more street type vibe to it, longer drop in back and a removable full sleeved thermal interior. The dark brown color is badass, looking at first glance as black.

Great jacket with more features than just about any other Alpinestars jacket. Love having BOTH the thermal liner and vented pit zips and pockets. Makes this a great jacket for commuting.The leather is 8/10 quality and looks like it will break in over time to get a distressed look.Once you arrive at your destination, the jacket blends in well while still saying ?I got here on two wheels?.This is the hidden gem of the A-Stars lineup.My only complaint is that the sleeves are a bit long and cinching them up with the velcro cuff is uncomfortable.Protip: I added black reflective strips on the shoulder slider - blends in very well.

I like it. It is comfortable, doesn't restrict movement on the bike and inspires confidence. Underarm air vents work pretty well. Great protection. Washed-out on a switchback turn and slid awhile on my forearm, I'm perfectly fine thanks to the nice forearm padding and the coat is a bit scuffed but still very good. One drawback is removable liner has narrow arm openings so I don't use it, and I have average sized arms (I don't weightlift). Another drawback is the velcro wrist closures kinda suck, I would have to fold the leather sleeve to use the closure straps and it's just not effective; I use gauntlet style gloves (over the cuff) on cold days anyway so the weak closure is not a deal breaker for me. Overall I am happy with this purchase. I am 5'11" & 200 lbs.
Really liking this jacket so far. I feel like there is good airflow without the liner and the protection and leather feel really solid. It looks good and feels like great protection.
Awesome jacket. Had a crash around 130 mph and it put a quarter size hole in the cuff, but that was it. The rest of the impact of the jacket just added character to it. Had a low side crash around 50 mph with the AStar Gp pro V2 jacket and that jacket suffered. Thermal liner is a plus, but overall this is a solid great looking jacket. Can be a little awkward if you ride a sport bike at first, but once it breaks in its good.
