These seemed like a good solution to my needs - shin protection, good traction for street and light off road and fit under riding pants. All those things were true, but they fit a bit too snugly around my ankles, and kind of looked like the old rubber galoshes. Finally, I did not like the full length Velcro fasteners - looked ragged. Returned them for a pair of TCX Gore-Tex boots which I love.

Good thing Revzilla has simple return policy. I normally wear a 45, but these were quite loose. So I returned them and got the 44, and those were quite tight. Very odd. But as much as I wanted to keep these and had pre-ordered back in Feb (got them in May), I'm now looking for an alternative.
i just got my new boots, i read some reviews of sizing problems, i didn't have any problems with the size, i regularly wear a size 44 and it fits very normal to me. They are very confortable boots, the sole is a little hard, i think they will loose with the use. Very strong, good material, nice looking, modern.
These are nice boots. Very comfortable! Sizing is correct. I love the aggressive tread pattern. I haven?t had the chance to test them in the rain yet. I think most riders will be pleased after purchasing this product from Alpinestars.
