The BEST BOOT for any rider! With a ruptured Achilles tendon, I underwent surgery in 2022 and got these boots before my first ride in 2023. These boots have the best protection I have ever seen. They are comfortable, easy to put on, fit great and protect great. After 1.5 years of use, they still look new and are super comfortable.

Best boots out there. Period.

I ride/race moto, WORCS, and GP style races, as well as plenty of spirited trail riding, and i wouldn't wear anything else.I've owned all the other top boots out there too, including Gaerne SG12s and Fox Instincts, never any Sidis unfortunately, and these Tech10s take the cake. As far as protection, comfort and feel goes, these Tech10s top the charts. With these, situations like that are barely even a concern anymore. There's also additional rubber grip on the inside outer part of the boot, which helps with holding on with your legs. It's especially noticeable when hanging on while seat-bouncing.The buckles are 100 times better, and the boot itself is much lower in profile compared to the '18 and older version. In fact my pair of 2019s is over a pound and a half lighter than my 2018s.Performance and comfort aside, these boots also look bitchin. One thing I will say though, is that these boots aren't for everyone. If you're a more entry-level rider, or just a casual trail rider, these boots are overkill for you, and you'll probably find them to be too stiff. These 2019s are definitely slightly stiffer than the previous generation, but only in the areas where you really need that extra support. For more casual riders, something like the Tech7 would be more ideal, but if you're motoing, these boots are the best money can buy.

Best boots you will every buy, worth every penny.

When I first unboxed the Tech-10's, they were noticeable heavier, about 3 lbs so I was like "no way, these feel like concrete bricks". After wearing them around the house for a while, I noticed that even though they are heavier, they are very balanced and not as rigid out of the box as the 7's. They have an inner-boot that you pull out and put on first, it's like a boot inside of a boot, so the ankle shifting problem was fixed instantly. I already love them and I havent even ridden with them yet, just from wearing them around the house and garage I can already tell how awesome these are!

Crazy comfortable and and look great!

These boots fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable!! Mostly got these boots because of the design and boy do they look awesome in person! I’ve worn them out riding 3 times so far and my only complaint is they are starting to squeak around the fancy ankle joint when I walk. Really not a big deal but just something to note. Also worth mentioning they are fairly water resistant after a long day of riding I just pressure wash them off and their good as new! Over all more than impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again or recommend to a friend!

Did not live up to expectations.
30 June 2018

I ordered these to replace my Alpinestars Tech 3s. I was expecting to be blown away by the differences of a $600 Tech 10 vs a $200 Tech 3 but I was not. First thing in noticed is the Tech 10s are very heavy compared to the Tech 3s. They are 3lbs heavier than my Tech 3s. Second thing I noticed is they are physically huge like a size 11 is more like a size 13 overall and this extra bulk will not aid shifting at all. This extra size is due to the internal bootie taking up extra space. That bootie makes them harder to put on as well. I bought the white vented ones hoping they would keep my feet cooler because it's very hot and humid here in Florida but that internal boot makes the vents a moot point. These feel very hot inside immediately even in the ac in my house ... MoreI ordered these to replace my Alpinestars Tech 3s. I expected them to be more comfortable than my Tech 3s and was very disappointed there as well they are not very comfortable at all. Lastly I expected them to be more flexible out of the box vs a tech 3 but they definitely are not. They don't really have an external hinge like my wife's Tech 7s. Also there is less plastic protection on the calf area vs my Tech 3 which matters as I have very sharp pegs. I tried them on and sent them back because I definitely didn't even want to ride in them. I cannot comment on durability as I didn't use them.-m-2018 KTM 450 SX-F--

LAST BOOTS YOU'LL RIDE!
3 November 2022

Best Boots Money Can Buy!These boots are not your broken in out of the box and worn out in 50 hours of riding garbage you'll find elsewhere. They're stiff and require some break-in time but once they're broken in they're slippers and you'll never wear anything else! They also grip the bike super well and the grippy portion doesn't wear out in a couple rides like other boots. If you're getting boots for free who cares but for those of us that have to pay for our crap I'd much rather put my money where it counts!

Solid Boots, Poor Sole Life
3 January 2022

My favorite boots Ive had. The hold up these boots provide in whoops and g-outs is unparalleled. I have ran other high end boots and find they flex too much for my liking once broken in. That is not an issue with these boots. My only complaint is the soles. I only got 15-20 hours out of the left boot sole before it was chewed up and needing to be replaced. I reached out to Alpinestars to see what a resole would cost, and they said didnt have the soles in stock and they werent sure when they would have more. I ended up shipping my boots to Factory Resole out of California and they put Sidi soles on the boots. I have had great luck with the resole, and it looks like Ill be able to get far more hours out of it than I was the original Alpinestars sole. Would like to see ... MoreMy favorite boots Ive had. Tons of Protection Surprisingly Comfortable

I replaced a set of Tech 7’s that were the previous version. I won’t say much about the protection as others have covered that. I’ll only talk about sizing, comfort, and the inner bootie.Sizing. I wear a 10 in Adidas skate shoes (usually the only brand I wear these days. My Tech 7’s were a size 10 or 44.5. They fit with a little room to spare. The Tech 10’s are right on the edge of too small. So if you are pushing the size limit on a non-bootie boot you might find the Tech 10’s a little small.Comfort. Shockingly good. I feel like these were like snow boots than the Tech 7’s.Inner bootie. This is a tough one. I ride a supermoto with a leather racing suit. Initially they didn’t work together and I was going to return. But after removing the bootie and seeing how my suit would work with it I realized I could fully open up the boot, leave the bootie in (trying to get the bootie with your foot in it into the boot is near impossible) and do it up as you normally would, then wrap your suit over the bootie, then do the boot up. Works perfectly!Oh and the buckles... they almost close themselves. Very nice quality product.

Totally worth it
15 April 2021

I'm primarily an adventure bike rider who spends time riding on singletrack. I wanted a boot with max protection that can take a beating no matter what I go through. I considered the Tech 7 Enduro boots but I wanted something that was 1 step above it. I do ride at ATV parks so I wanted a boot that was study should I dab a bit too hard. These boots were really uncomfortable the first time I wore them. I broke them in and ended up becoming one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I can wear these boots all day and feel just fine. I have really big feet mind you! The Tech 10s are very tight fitting and your ankle is definitely going nowhere. The booties take some practice and patience to wear and slip your foot into the main boot. I discovered that it's way easier for me to keep the bootie inside the boot and then slip my foot in. Overall these boots were worth the money. If you off-road an adventure bike and plan to hit some really nasty stuff, definitely consider the Tech 10.

Worth it!

First set of Tech 10s, usually wear Sidi SRS 3s but these are awesome boots the downers from my experience so far is they are stiff and need break-in which isnt that big of a deal plus they tend to feel bulky at times but the pros of that feature out weigh the cons. Other than that the support is amazing they absorb impacts insanely well, I personally have great feel of the pegs, shifter and brake lever. Feel like I can lock onto the pegs a lot better. Its easier to stand up and get in that aggressive riding position. Awesome support (had reconstructive surgery on one of my ankles) Im sure I could go on and on being this is only my second time riding in these boots. But so far I would defiantly buy another pair. Pricy but way cheaper than a hospital bill!
