The comfort of this boot is out of this world; they're more comfortable than many of my regular shoes. This is in stark contrast to the Gaernes and Sidis, which are bizarrely stiff, plastic-y, and feel like you're putting your foot inside a steel box with almost no padding. The Alpinestars foot bed is perfectly shaped to hug the foot, so that my foot doesn't rattle around inside the boot like it did inside the Gaerne's, which are wider. And finally, the protection has been wonderful: after 1.5 years riding, these boots are still in great shape, and have protected me from being trapped under my bike and other mishaps. If you're looking to compare to another boot, the Fox boots are closest in terms of fit and comfort, but I think the Alpinestars are superior in quality. The Gaernes and Sidis were kind of a joke, to be honest; the quality was absolutely not there (whereas my boyfriend's adult Sidi boots are amazing; they don't extend the quality to kids boots unfortunately). And, as always, Revzilla customer service beats the competition squarely, appreciate you guys!

I purchased these for my granddaughter for her upcoming mx season. Her first comment, after raving about the looks, was about how light and comfortable they felt compared to her old Brand X boots. She can actually feel the shifter and brake pedal in these. I’ve worn Alpinestars for over 40 years and i’ve never had an issue with quality. I wouldn’t expect these to be any different. Highly recommend and will purchase again when she outgrows this pair.-m-2013 KAWASAKI KLX110--

These are the Boy's first pair of Alpine star boots and although we read plenty of reviews on how great they are you never know, because each person is different. Today we got them in, and as soon as I asked my middle guy (who's 9) how do they feel, he said , "like heaven." Both of my guys felt the same way. Thoroughly happy with our purchase, yes they are expensive especially when you are buying x 2 but well worth it. The quality and make on these boots are worth every penny. #teamtooker-m-2018 KTM 65 SX--

These are simply put, top notch MX boots. They look fantastic, are comfortable, are true to size, and I believe provide a high level of protection. Could they provide more protection? Probably. But you don't want casts on your feel. You have to have some level of flexibility and feel in order for them to be practical. I believe they provide a good balance, and I feel that they are a great deal for $200. My son's next boots will be the same 7S's in the next size, and maybe another cool colorway. Totally recommended.
I LOVE these boots. I'm a woman with a size 7.5-8 shoe. I got a size 6 in these. I have a high arch, so it's hard to find any comfortable shoe, never mind boot, but these are amazing. They almost form to my foot, so comfortable I can ride all day. The ventilation is great, my feet don't sweat at all. They don't have the steal toe that I'm used to, but they are plenty hard enough in the toe that I feel safe still (and honestly shifting is easier). They also have an awesome hinged ankle which makes walking sooo much easier. They ARE shorter than most boots, so make sure your knee pads are the longer style and tuck in, but they are absolutely awesome. Oh, and the new buckle system is flawless. No more struggling or being scared to break your buckles.-m-2001 HONDA ... MoreI LOVE these boots. I'm a woman with a size 7.5-8 shoe. I got a size 6 in these. When I found out that Alpinestars made the tech 7 with basically all of the features of the full size Tech 7 in smaller sizes I was thrilled. I have had Alpinestars boots for about 20 years myself and recently purchased some Tech 7s for myself and love them.My daughter need some new boots and I wanted to get her something of reasonably good quality without breaking the bank and luckily I stumbled across the Tech 7s which is nearly identical to the full size Tech 7 in slightly smaller sizes with a slightly shorter shin plate and 3 buckles. Big people protection just slightly smaller and shorter. The person I spoke to at Rocky Mountain was very helpful with the European sizing, and their exchange policy made me confident enough to try these for my daughter. Between us we got the fit perfect on the first try, these boots were so comfortable that she walked around the house in them on and off for a week. Virtually no break in time. This boot is full of protection and features for the price of an entry level Alpinestars adult boot. Can't beat it if the sizing and height works for you.-m-2009 KTM 105 XC--
I decided to try these after my Stella's wore out...after looking at the sizing chart and everything I thought they would be perfect...not so much.I wear a 6.5 in women's. Since Alpinestars doesn't do half sizes I was advised to size up so I ordered a 7 in the Stella. Well...there was way too much room in there, to the point that I broke my big toe after my toes slammed to the front of my boot when I cased a jump.I ordered a size 4 in these boots, which is .5 cm smaller than the size 7 Stella. The foot fit is perfect (although it's much narrower than the Stella, I have slightly wide feet, but I think it'll pack out with riding). Although the calf height is too short and not wide enough. The calf height is shorter than the Stella, although from what I read it was supposed to be the same. This bothers me on both boots because my knee pads never stay in my boot. The calf width is not wide enough (I was afraid of this) even though it was supposed to be 18" from what I read. The buckles latch but you might be left with the a gap (so the inner material is showing)...less protection and why I was afraid of ordering kids boots. I have a pretty average calf size and I was barely able to get the boots to overlap. My stella's were nearly waterproof, I would accidentally submerge my foot and not even feel a drop...the kids tech 7's get wet inside even from a small splash. So, giving this 4/5 stars because I bet they're great for kids.PROS: better foot fit for half sizes, Tech 7's for the price of Tech 3'sCONS: not waterproof, calf isn't tall enough so the knee pads don't stay in, way less protection (one ride and my legs are bruised from my pegs)Not really interested in getting the Stella's again...gonna rock these for a few seasons and hope that something better for women comes out.
My 8yrs old boy is average height but a tiny albeit athletic, peanut. He's a skinny kid but leggy with long arms and wide shoulders. He has a narrow heel and wide forefoot. These boots fit him great, even at a half size up. We bought Size 3. He lives them and is able to find the rear brake on his 50 SX no problem. He has never complained abiut walking in them and we ride trail and track. We bought the red, white, blue and yellow and he loves them. Is able to put them on by himself and needs no help and even after riding and being soaked in sweat he manages the buckles no problem. He is not a big kid. These boots are of the HIGHEST quality.-m-2019 KTM 50 SX--
Great quality product. These were bought for a 7 year old and the boots fit him well. They are very stiff but provide excellent protection for his ankles and feet. They have enough feel from them to allow him to access his brakes and shifter easily. Very stylish also. I would recommend these boots for someone looking for the next level of protection above and beyond the entry level equipment that's available.-m-2012 COBRA CX50-SR--
I'm a EUR 34/35 ( very tiny feet) and I ordered a size up. Got the Youth size 5. Fit just nice with a pair of socks and still a little wiggle room for the toes. Overall better built than the Ladies Fox boots and Thor Blitz Women's boot. Felt more plush inside with better cushioning and more ankle support and protection. Harder plastic protection around the ankle area as well. Much more comfy to walk in too! Worth paying the little bit extra as compared to the the other womens/youth boots. Only downside was that I thought the boot was a mix of grey silver but it turned out more silver bling than I expected! Just gotta rock it from now on!
