Great light - I knocked off a star because it is very hungry on batteries e.g. 2 x 63Wt batteries last almost an hour so have plenty. Well made, small and included soft box a bonus. So, other than spending an extra few hundred on batteries, very pleased.

A Real Value

Huge upgrade over my old CFL lights. Finding something that worked quietly was the main goal and these satisfied that. A ton of light for a small unit. The app is handy for controlling the lights, but can be a little buggy having to reconnect. The included softbox is a nice addition, but I wish there was a barn door option.

A great light, with one odd choice from the manufacturer.

I really like this light, and compared to any other light with a recognizable brand on it, I think it's a great value. I just have no idea why they didn't include a proper mount that utilizes the side mounting holes. Mounting this light from the bottom is just not the correct way to do it. The light itself works great though, and the app control is pretty good. I'm still struggling to get the app to properly save my scene, but it's probably my own error. Also, next time, make the grid so it can fit in the carrying case.

A solid upgrade from the HR672

I have been waiting for the upgrade to the old HR672 panels for some time and the new P60x panel is no disappointment. The build quality and functionality as well as light output has improved quite a lot. Gone is the light plastic feeling as well as the shaky battery release of the HR672-series. Also the power connector is a solid new type with a twist locking function. I also love the new user interface with a proper display.The only big downside is the functionality of the fastening pin to the panel. Basic app is free to use. Some people would probably have wanted the remote option to still be available.While much fuzz is surrounding the full color P60c brother, the P60x wins for portability as the weight is only half of the color version. And price is lower too.

Bright but hungry

First-up - I like these lights (I bought two). Bright, nice light and supplied diffuser, and built well. However, I was surprised at just how hungry these were. 2 x 63Wt batteries power at 100% for just under an hour. Comnsidering Max power draw is 78Wt I'm not sure how that works. New batteries - 3 sets of different makes - same result. So nice lights, but carry a heap of spare batteries to get you through - which adds a few hundred dollars to run them from batts. I woud definitely buy again and recommend though.

Excellent Lights with a couple fixable issues

Very please with the light output and build quality. Beware of the power cord. I receive mine and they have UK plugs and no adapter for the plug. BH is sending me (free) adapters but would much rather have cords with the smaller ends. Linking to Sidus was easy but the firmware wouldnt update. Fix is to power by battery only and it will go through. Otherwise, these are awesome!

Great Light for the price!

Great light on the budget side of things I own several older Amaran lights and this is much more powerful. Easy to use and love that it includes the softbox and egg crate. I would have given it 5 stars, but I had trouble connecting the light to the Sidus app. Took the light into B&H and Hector in the lighting dept. was great and got it working. Be aware you need 2 batteries to make the light portable. Unlike other lights it will not run on a single battery. Small complaints. Happy with the light.

Puny but Powerful

Have not had them long and only used them once, but really love how powerful they are for such a small light.Although plastic made, they feel solid and put out wonderful bi-color light.On a recent outdoor photo shoot, I used buy Aputure 300D in a softbox and the P60X as a back/sidelight at 3200K to simulate the warm sunlight in the background and it looks great.As others have mentioned, the small soft box has some minimal effect, but is great as it is so quick and easy to put on to control. I also purchased a 45 umbrella to bounce or shoot-through to soften the light even more.

Quality light, tons of control, lightweight

Great light for almost any purpose. High quality, remote usability with the phone app. Super portable. Can't be without one now.

Wow! That's bright!

This is a terrific light at a great price. I've been an Aputure fan for a while now and this light delivers - especially with the included soft box and easy to use controls - not to mention the many other thoughtful features that make it easy to set up, control, to get really a very pleasant, skin-tone friendly light.
