Pros: I run an older tv - a Sony Bravia 12 years old. The arrival of this fire stick dragged my picture quality into the modern era. I’m so impressed with how much the picture improved that it saves me investing in a brand new tv it’s that good!It’s easy to use as it’s my first it was an area of concern but I found it intuitive and picked it up in no time.Great picture quality Easy to useMuch cheaper than buying a tv upgrade!Cheap to buy. Cons: Having to set up each channel with passwords e.g. bbc iPlayer then channel 4,5 and so on.This was expected however but if in some way that could be made simpler it would be a good thing to do.I’m not certain technology will ever get to this but it would be amazing if it could work off its own individual wi-fi signal.

Works perfectly! We purchased this lite version to use in our 2019 Honda Odessey mini van. The power cord is long enough to reach the AC adapter in the front while the HDMI fire stick stays plugged into the back of the center console without any issue. We hotspot our internet for the kids to stream on the go. No more buying BluRay/DVDs just for the kids to complain they are bored of watching them every time we travel. Even with the fire stick being close to floor level- the remote works fine from each seat in our vehicle. I’ve included pictures of how it is setup in our van if anyone else is curious. It took about 15 min to setup and most of that was simply logging into our different apps. Only works with WiFi/Hotspot connection obviously.

The Fire stick and remote were exactly as described. It works perfectly. The Firesticks were easy to set up and quick to learn. It makes life so much easier with the voice control. The price is amazingly reasonable. Easily search and enjoy thousands of movies, TV shows, apps, and games. Use your voice to easily search and launch shows across multiple apps. You have to tile through at least one of their ads to get your app. For those who haven’t used Roku, they have only ad that is placed non-obtrusively to the right of the apps. And still, certain apps like CNN almost never work properly (always frozen). A few times the TV has even failed to start up or takes forever to. Pros: We bought the fire stick because our little girl is in hospital and both us parents are staying with her we have been here since the beginning of December 2022 with no signs of leaving any time soon. So the fire stick has become a big part of our hospital life as there was no other way for us to watch tv in the accommodation provided to parents with poorly children. It’s become a well needed distraction for all of us. I would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully at some point we would like to raise funds to provide other parents in our situation with a fire stick especially those with other children that have to stay in the parents accommodation with them.
This firestick has made streaming easier for our family. We plugged the fire stick into our TV and connected it to wifi and we were ready to start streaming. We have several streaming subscriptions and everyone we pay for was easy to find. This fire stick also has Alexa voice which can be controlled by what you tell it to do making searching for shows effortless. This fire stick has made our family movie night so much easier to control our streaming right at our finger tips. The speed has been great even with my internet occasionally acting up on us. I have been pleased with the product and the amount of money it has saved us by ditching expensive cable.
