Received battery and have it in. Works great Was hard to find the right battery especially after Amazon told me there was not a replacable battery in my Kindle. It was a little work to get it in but all is fine now. Thanks

I had great help via email and phone to order the correct battery. My Kindle has since taken a charge several times and seems to be working correctly, so I haven't yet installed the new battery. Maybe I let it get too low? I will keep the battery for future use when my original dies.

I found it harder to remove the original battery than I thought it would be. Use a hair dryer to heat up the glue that holds the original battery in place. However, once I got the original battery out, this one was really easy to install. I have my Kindle back and I am absolutely thrilled that it works again. If you don't like throwing out good items, I highly recommend purchasing a replacement battery for the cost.

Battery with tool were great with the added help of you example made the changing of the battery smooth sailing. Only problem screw heads so small hard to tell which type/size screw driver to use ended up having to drill one screw head out.

I was in need of a battery for my Kindle Fire HD 7. These are not cheap batteries ($30 to $ 65 ) and I searched the internet for the best deals. After searching several sites, I narrowed down selection by price and by "known" vendors. While batteryship had the lowest price, BUT I never heard of them. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 Battery Replacement

This battery arrived very quickly - from a bordering state! - and is working well. Since it's meant to fit a few different HD models, it had some extra tabs for screwing down the battery that weren't needed on my Kindle. I simply bent the metal back so I could fit it in the space, which didn't damage anything or affect performance. Also, the previous battery had been solidly glued, so I used a tiny amount of Gorilla glue on the back of this one. It's solidly in place. So far, so good.

I like that the vendor provided plenty of information for determining that one was ordering the RIGHT battery, since it makes a big difference depending on your year and model of Kindle (you certainly can’t just order a “Kindle battery†!). Great crew here. Ordered and got Sooner than estimated. I know this always isn’t true, but these guys know their stuff. It was a battery for a kindle my mother, who passed away, gave my wife.
