My 2060 had issues running multiple monitors and caused crashes all the time. After a week of hard use, this card has not caused any problems which is exactly what I was looking for! I also do a little gaming and can run Warzone at 4K, max graphics settings, and get a consistent 120fps. In my limited experience with high-end GPUs, I can't really see there being a better all-around card for the money. My only complaint is that it uses mini DisplayPort instead of DisplayPort. I'm sure there is a reason for this and it obviously wasn't a deal-breaker for me, just had to buy new cables.

This video card is truly amazing! I'm never buying an Nvidia card ever again. I have found zero lag. I've cranked every setting in games to the highest level and still no lag.

As a content creator, you're always looking to improve your process, a little faster, with a little higher resolution, and a little more powerful hardware. The promises this hardware makes are just not real. 32GB of Vram is just a number, I mean I had a GTX1070 8gb of VRAM, and my work, as well as other activities, performed BETTER on that old card. For starters, a 110 degrees Celcius temp (normal temp according to AMD support) during a single video render with just 1 element in a single timeline IS ABSURD. It takes 15 minutes to render 11 minutes, of single-track, 1080p video in after fx. If you add 3d layers or effects you're looking at 2 - 5 hours to render without raytracing. Now raytracing in ANY app becomes a huuuuuge problem, your temp and power draw will ... MoreAs a content creator, you're always looking to improve your process, a little faster, with a little higher resolution, and a little more powerful hardware. Ordered 2 units but 1 has fan issues making noise card takes time to boot
Grabbed this card to speed up some of the processes I use at work that need VRAM like Knald and Substance Designer. It does an amazing job with these tasks and the time improvement is incredible! Processing 8K materials in some Designer graphs with 8GB-12GB can take an hour, with this card it takes less than a minute. Only because of that generous VRAM amount. When it comes to compute tasks like Agisoft Metashapes(using Standard 1.7.1) it does a good job but it is around a RTX 2080 performance, which is still good but not a winner it terms of price to performance in a normal market. The biggest issue here is CUDA. Almost every renderer or processing task I use takes advantage of CUDA. This is not AMDs fault but it would be nice if there was an improvement for ... MoreGrabbed this card to speed up some of the processes I use at work that need VRAM like Knald and Substance Designer. The biggest issue here is CUDA. Almost every renderer or processing task I use takes advantage of CUDA. This is not AMDs fault but it would be nice if there was an improvement for support on AMD cards in these compute tasks. In terms of gaming this card does a great job! Not only am I getting higher FPS over my 1080Ti but it just feels smoother when limiting the frames. Not sure why this is but I have noticed that. Not perfect though as I do get drops in areas where I did not with the 1080 Ti. Have not done enough testing to really narrow it down but I am thinking it is alpha planes, drawing that is a but slower on this card. Now to the point of why my review is missing an egg. That coil whine is brutal. Again it might be because I got a bad card but still have to review what I got and I got a card that wants to see if it can break glass with its whine. Not much more to say there. The card does get hot but these pro cards are made to handle the heat and at least is throwing the heat outside the case and not directly on your m.2s and RAM. I do plan to build a custom loop when EK releases a water block for this card. In my opinion all these cards post Navi and Pascal need water-cooling if you are using them for heavy workloads. Also hoping water-cooling it helps the noise. So overall a great card for people needing lots of VRAM and also who wants to game on the same machine. I am very interested to see if AMD gets some more love in production applications in the future, especially since they have successfully entered the high end again. In a normal market I probably would have gone for a 6900 XT or RTX 3090 but with their prices what they are the W6800 is a much better deal.
The 32GB of VRAM is immensely helpful in productivity tasks, very stable.
RDNA2 and 32GB ECC and six Mini-DisplayPort, oh my! ...Oz notwithstanding, this card is made to work, and work it does. It smoothly and gracefully handles the work I throw at it, and with useful speed and alacrity. For perspective, it ran a 2896 in Heaven 4.0 on Extreme. I didn't buy it for gaming though. It renders complex scenes with useful speed and affords me a smooth and detailed render viewport for 3D work. At full load, it hovers around 90C, which I find interesting. I know AMD tends to specify high operating ranges for their cards, but that seems to be what the blower speed curve and throttling behaviors are tailored to. As far as B&H's end of things, it shipped quickly and was neatly packed, and arrived without a single mark on the box, so everybody wins.
Amazing thicck daddy card. Must get the soft/firm ware for it to be used effectively and get the most out of it. Would love to water cool it but doesnt seem to be an option.
I had a lower end Radeon card to run my six 4K monitors but it just could not keep up with my software applications I was using. I was getting freeze ups in my Ninja Trader software. I decided enough is enough and picked up this card. So far, it handles everything I throw at it. The graphical issues I was having has been resolved with this card. The setup guide says that you can use passive adaptor cables with all six monitors. I still active adaptors but it is possible with the later. So far a great card.
