A good quality pomade. A little on the expensive side, but it's definitely worth it. I'm a brunette with a fade and it blends well. The smell is great. It met my expectations based on price. I would definitely recommend this to others as it is a great product.

I have used the American Crew Fiber and Pomade. This product, the "Forming Cream" I would describe as the middle, the perfect balance. My hair is thick, somewhat coarse, yet soft. I wear my hair short, almost like a buzz and usually let it grow longer so that I can comb it over (by longer I'm talking 4-5 inches on the top, sometimes more). What I didn't like about Fiber is that it can be too clay like and usually made my hair too stiff. I found fiber to work best the shorter my hair was, but even then it was a super strong and stiff hold. It was actually working as intended, but not to my liking. American Crew Forming Cream is a decent styling product that provides a medium hold and a natural finish. It's easy to work with and has a pleasant scent, but it doesn't provide as much control as some other products on the market. Overall, it's a solid choice for everyday styling, but not the best option for more structured looks.

Don't get me wrong, there are a TON of awesome hair gel products on the market today. However, as a male, I find myself running into the same few issues... 1.) Yes, I have thick, Italian hair, but, as a male, I don't quite need "concrete hold." Give us some variety! 2.) I'm often able to find a decent "hold" level, but I'd simply like to smell like something other than Floral Grace in the Spring Pastures. 3.) To bring it all together, we simply NEED a solid degree of hold and need NOT smell like 5W-20. (That's a solid NASCAR Cup engine weight, making close to 900 horsepower, in case my "man-card" is in doubt.

This forming cream by American crew is a medium hold, medium shine type of cream. I have wavy thick hair and it help to keep it tamed and looking healthy and not dried out. Nice inoffensive scent nothing special about that. I would recommend any guy give this a try and see how they like it.

American Crew Grooming Cream is my go-to hair styling product. I have short, spiky hair and only need a tiny amount to style my hair. It has a firm hold and gives my hair a nice shine. And I always buy it through Oz Hair & Beauty as it’s ridiculously cheap.Even with the impacts of COVID, I received my order only a few days after placing it.

I've used the Fiber, Forming and Grooming creams, but mostly, all on short to medium hair lengths. I typically appreciate the Fiber most. However, when my hair's "old man rock and roll life" long like it is now, the Grooming cream works best. I can blow dry my hair, like Barry Gibb back in the day, and use this cream in dry hair without pulling any out (each one is precious). My hair is kept in place, with a nice shine and no stringiness.. The smell is awesome and my hair looks awesome. For long hair, I recommend this. For shorter hair, I recommend the Fiber. I like the Forming cream okay, but it's my least favorite of the three. Peace.

Not The Same! Terrible!

I’ve use this product every day for over 10 yrs. Over the last year and a half I’ve noticed the product having two very difference consistencies. I buy my product from the same local professional beauty products provider, not online. Lately I’ve been receiving product that is nothing short of Vaseline. Just leaves my hair full of grease. I’m used to this item looking more like a white cream which has incredible hold, shine and did not leave my hair greasy. Why did you change the makeup of your Grooming Cream? It’s horrible now! Will be looking for a replacement. Another issue - I tried for a week to call your customer support line at the times indicated. Every time it’s a recording telling me you aren’t in the office. I give up!

Works better with damp hair, just a very small amount and rub between palms and then into hair. Styling, or heat drying and styling, works great. Love that it still moves a very small amount on windy days, adding to the "look"; I slick my hair straight back. A quick comb and it's fixed. Washes out easy as well. No greasy feeling, although it is a bit "heavy" in how you perceive it once applied. Higher hold than their pomade, and definitely my new go-to for hair product now.
