In all of these casesI have not nicked my skin either.It was easy to rinse the sink basin and there was no annoying scum or residue left in the basin as with some shave creams I have used. Also I have sensitive skin and can react to nylon labels etc. With the CREW Moisturising Cream my skin has been fine. The tube does say that the cream helps to prevent irritation, which the last sentence agrees with. Apart from the sensitivity of my skin, my skin is normal. The cream is for normal to dry skin. I do not know how it works on greasy skin.So based on the above tests, the American CREW Moisturising shave cream is easy to use, smells nice and a little goes a long way. That results in a 5 star review rating from me.

I found it quite crucial to make sure your face is wet to use this otherwise it doesn’t lather very well. But if your face is wet and you use a layer of this and scrub, it will lather nicely. An only downside of this is it’s hard to see where you have shaved. I have blonde hair so I already struggle but with foam you can see where you’ve been. Another note, if you have a single blade shaver or take your time to shave you may want to put a thicker layer on OR apply it to one side, shave and then apply to the other side and shave. bought this for my husband along with a few other products to step up his skincare. no matter how hot the water was, how little or lightly this cream was spread, this cream stopped up his razor. It even stopped up a brand new razor with the attempts to rinse it after every swipe. After 3 failed attempts, I had to return the product. Why make a shave cream that isn’t water soluble?

Give it a minute.. and hit it with the blade.You can use it for clean-ups around the mustache, sideburns (if you have them), or even on your head.That's something I do with it as well. Shave the sides of my head when I give myself a fade haircut.Fantastic product IMHOKeep stocking it!
This has been the best shaving cream I’ve ever used... until yesterday. For years I’ve only used this having cream because it’s the best of the best. I used it yesterday and found out both the texture and ingredients have changed but the name of the product remains the same. the number one ingredient I loved was the menthol. This is no longer there. The texture used to be a thick cream, now it’s a thin lotion. Why has the product line changed? when? Where can I find what the former product used to be?
