I got this on sale and like American Tourister for their design and quality. Out the range, the sound box design is my favourite, and the fact that it is expandable and available in a variety of colours is great. I travel on long haul trips to Japan often, so the large capacity is a must for me. The interior design and TSA lock are also handy. It is lighter than I thought, and the coral pink colour I bought is unique and certainly stands out on the luggage belt. I have a Samsonite as well, and I think American Tourister is great quality too for a more affordable price.

Love the soundbox expandable bag for those extra purchases when returning from holidays. Luggage range has great choice of colours. The wheels & ease of mobility whilst using the bag are exceptional. The tourister brand dos not disappoint & inside zipped compartments help to keep your luggage organised whilst travelling. Would highly recommend.

Cute and practical, but thinner than expected

Great little suitcase - nice and light for solo travel, with a fairly unique design that makes it easy to spot in large groups or on a luggage carousel. Was slightly thinner than expected, but the case is taller and wider to accommodate the smaller depth of the case, and one side can expand as well.The interior components (i.e. the straps, divider etc) are all decent quality, but the exterior shell is prone to scratching as the plastic is a little soft/flexible. The upside of this is that the case is unlikely to crack or dent if dropped (as the material has some "give" to absorb any impacts), however this does mean the case starts to scuff right away, even on fairly short trips. If this bothers you, I'd recommend avoiding the pastel colours.

Good, but expensive

Love the American Tourister brand - I had a small one of their cases before and it's still going strong after more than a quarter of a century!I needed a lock which can be opened by the US Authorities if required and this has it. It's a great size for me - not too big or small. The wheels are sturdy and the case seems to be as well.The unit I purchased came in a VERY bright light blue - it looks awful, but I'll be able to identify it easily on the airport carousel which is the important thing!It cost significantly more than I was expecting but that's probably down to my perceptions. It cost a LOT less than the Samsonite equivalent which is a bit mind-blowing as they are from the same company!Overall, I'm very happy with this

Great quality suitcases

These suitcases managed to survive two rounds of 21 hour journeys with a stop over each way to Japan. Really hardy but light and the wheels are great and haven't gotten sticky or stiff. The handle is also smooth and doesn't lock up either. The bright colours have been super handy as most people have a black suitcase so rare for it to get picked up by accident by someone else.

Great, hard wearing suitcase

Have owned large and small soundbox suitcases in yellow for a number of years now, maybe since they came out? and we are now adding another large one to help with family holidays! They are relatively basic, but have everything you need and are light and easy to maneuver. My only complaint is how much the handle cuts in to the inside of the case, you have to pack your underwear around it, but on the plus side if they had covered it over then you would lose packing volume, so... Overall, a good purchase, happy to recommend.

I thought this was "the one" - but it cracked!

I bought this case for a specific transatlantic trip in May. It has received very little use: one flight from Dublin to Switzerland (no damage - I normally check corners and wheels), one return flight within mainland Europe (as before), train journey last week from Switzerland to France. When I unpacked in France I noted a large crack (see image). The case was with me throughout the train journeys and did not fall or suffer any impact.I'm very disappointed in this purchase - especially as the Guarantee doesn't seem to cover this kind of damage. I will have to purchase another case for the trip in May.A case of this specification and value should last more than four journeys! I brought the large and small suitcase as my friend has this in yellow. I brought these in 2021. i used them both for the first time when I visited Barbados late October this year (2022). When I picked up the large suitcase in Barbados it had a crack down the front middle. I paid nearly £200 for the one suitcase and on the first journey it ever makes it cracks. I had to cover it with cling film on the journey back to the UK in case it split even more. Very disappointed and reading the guarantee/warranty - damage by airline is not covered. The customer care telephone number just directs any damaged suitcases to a separate company, you do not deal with AT directly. Poor materials

I bought this suitcase 2 years ago and have used it approx 4 times since then. The plastic has now cracked/split on it. The luggage weighed approx 5 kilos and had some clothes in so no idea how this has happened.Very poor and cheap materials used. For this price point, I would expect better.From similar reviews, I would suggest there is an issue with the manufacture or materials.
