I received a sample of this in my Mecca beauty box and I just tried it last night. It was my first cleansing/chemical powder and I liked how soft and gentle it was. I didn’t like the fragrance at all, it left my skin red last night and this morning my skin had not calmed down.
Love this cleanser and have been buying it for about a year now. Gentle and refreshing, plus doesn't dry out the skin. Would give 5 stars but the price has increased a couple of times over the last year and yet the packaging hasn't seemed to have improved with providing the right amount per cleanse.
This product is fantastic. Takes away the dead skin without feeling abrasive at all. I use this 1-2 times a week and my skin feels amazing afterwards.
I've only been using this for a week, however, I can already feel and see that it is helping to draw out nasties and remove dead skin. I love the foam from powder texture and it feels so soft on my skin.Having been recommended the product by a colleague, and discussed it in detail before use, I was still surprised at how little I need to use to get the lathering effect.Wish I'd heard about it sooner!
I’ve never used a product that has made my skin feel so clean without drying it out! I’ve got congested and combination skin and this powder makes it feel so much better. It’s clean, softer and brighter after I wash my face. I thought the powder aspect would be weird but it’s easy to lather when I add a bit of water to my palm. Not easy to measure single dose though. Worth the money.
I got a sample in my Beauty Loop box. I already have the Dermalogica microfoliant. If you have thick dead skin cells, and you need to slough them off your skin, then Dermalogica is your powder (as long as you don't mind breathing in the rice powder even when it's wet.....my asthma doesn't like it).But if you want a regular gentle exfoliator, then this is it. It forms a foam much better and spreads over your face evenly....it dissolves better than the Dermalogica because the particles are smaller, IMO.Lovely smell (natural). Comparable in price, though slightly more expensive per weight comparison, 50g for this one, 75g in the Dermalogica. Worth the price I reckon. :)
I bought this for the first time a year ago and it is the best product I have used. It has lasted so long and my face is so smooth after immediate use. Problem areas are my chin, forehead and nose with congestion. Would highly recommend.
I researched this product extensively before purchasing, I haves sensitive skin with redness and can react to many products. This is an incredibly gentle enzyme exfoliant, I use almost daily, that leaves my skin wonderfully soft, ready for essence and moister barrier, without stripping. It's expensive but I only use a quarter of the suggested dose and it's more than enough, it'll last a year. I don't generally use fragranced products but as this is a wash off I haven't had any adverse reactions.I would highly recommend this as an exfoliant gentle enough not to aggravate your skin especially if you're using other boosters, retinol etc for better penetration.
