Why have Ocado stopped stocking the normal lentil soup, i buy them 12 at a time. As they are a staple and good if you suffer allergies. This soup has loads of "nasties" for me in. I prefer a more simpler ingredient list. Will have to shop elsewhere :(

I've only recently tried Amy's Kitchen soups and they have all been excellent. The lentil and vegetable soup is one of the best soups I've ever tasted - including home-made soups. Forget other brands - this is the one for me.
I love these soups, especially the Lentil one. Tasty and warming for any time of the year. I love them. Great that they don't contain wheat or other things that I can't tolerate. Wonderful to find them online as they can disappear from the shops sometimes. Very happy.
Better than a lot of other brand name soups, tho the veg was very disappointing. The carrots and potatoes in particular are awful. They do not taste like actual root veg, and the texture is also terrible. The garlic and balsamic vinegar are too strong in taste, and I think the balsamic is superfluous to the flavour, as it detracts rather than enhances the product. The vegetables really let down this product, ruining the taste of the brown lentils. Try the Low Fat Lentil Soup instead, please see my review. You can always add real veg to this soup for a nice tasting lentil and veg soup. By the way, I feel people are confusing "too much salt" with a very nice savoury flavour in both products
I've just hit the stage where switching to a plant based diet is grating on me as I need to find new recipes to satiate my tastebuds! Also I choose organic whenever viable. When it's all too much hassle, an easy can of soup is great fall back. + a baguette and you get a really happy meal!
My husband loves this....but I cringe when he eats is because the huge amount of salt. I don't like salt in anything other than home made pizza and use 2g in 500g of flour - Amy please make your soups with less salt and less sugar.
Really like this, its so thick and wholesome and perfectly flavoursome, I dont see how other reviewers find it bland. Lots of lentils and feels very much like a meal soup because of how much veg is packed in- theres barely any room for liquid left! Feels nutritious to eat although the veg is very soft, I usually like it al dente but it works ok in a soup.
i read the reviews but bought it anyway thinking it couldn't be inedible, but upon opening the can it actually stank like sewerage and my biological instinct went into overdrive, no way was my body allowing me to taste that thing. it went straight down the toilet and get this - after i flushed it, the toilet was stinking of this soup! yeah a real nasty smell, worse than anything my toilet is used to!
