Best Sunscreen I had used

I had used different sunscreens and all other kinds of Anessa sunscreen, I must say this is the best one because it's very light, non-sticky, and doesn't leave a white cast. Even the "golden bottle" Anessa isn't as good as this mild sun milk in my opinion. It also keeps my makeup in place, highly recommend!

Don’t shop with stylevana. We have ordered the old version of the sunscreen. Pay extra money. But stylevana sent us the new version one, which is worse quality. Have asked for the refund. Customer support team doesn’t care and don’t reply our email.

Good texture but stings and expensive

I like the texture of this sunscreen: it rubbed in quite well on my oily skin (just a little ‘glow’) and the white cast disappeared after about 10 minutes. However, after around half an hour my face began to sting/itch. I changed nothing else in my morning routine (just use Avene Tolerance Emulsion moisturiser as usual which is very mild), and it also stung on my chest where I had no other product, so can only assume it was a reaction to this sun cream. Will try once more with zero moisturiser underneath but for an expensive cream I’d expect something that does not irritate the skin.

Great for hot climates

A fantastic product to use in hot, humid weather or when exposed to sun for longer periods of time. I'm confident that this offers good protection. It is extremely sweat proof and does not run into my eyes or burn the skin. It sets quickly on the skin and makeup applies well over the top. I like how it makes my skin look without makeup too - blurs imperfections and gives a slightly matte finish. Only 1 less star because I would prefer if it were unfragranced (although the scent is not overpowering), also because I find that it can leave my skin feeling dehydrated halfway through the day if worn in dryer conditions or multiple days in a row (this usually happens on my skin with products that contain zinc). The texture is the most amazing I've tried - starts as a milk, glides on like a silicone but quickly sets to a smooth, fine powder.

I just recently started using this and so far so good. The new version/formula is way better than the old formula. I tried the old formula (2020?) Not quite sure but the old one and I hated it. The OLD formula was so greasy it felt like I put on some oil and I couldn't stand it Bec I have oily skin and I live in a humid country. Fast forward, I saw that it was renewed and so I decided to read new reviews and a lot of ppl said that the finish is soft, powdery and so I had to try it again (I was so nervous that it will be oily again) but I tried the NEW formula with the smooth protect technology and I'm here to tell you that IT IS in fact way better. I still wish that this mild milk sunscreen can be more matte/powdery since it's great for my sensitive/oily skin but hey it's good so far so. I tried the gold milk and the finish was the perfect finish for my skin BUT it stung my eyes so bad so I had to stop. For the mild milk,The spread is very smooth so it's easy to apply and def no irritations etc2. Overall, the new version of the mild milk is def good but hopefully in the future Anessa/shiseido can make it less oily still. If you have oily,/acne-prone skin/sensitive this is worth a try! Terrible skin reaction, needed to take steroids

I was really looking forward to this, after reading and watching multiple reviews online about how elegant of a sunscreen this was. About 10 hours after I applied it, I started getting swollen, itchy hives. I felt like my face was on fire- it was so hot and swollen that I needed to take steroids. It was one of the worst skin product reactions I've had. It was disappointing since it was so expensive, and this is marketed towards sensitive skin.

The Best Sunscreen

This is even better than the 2020 version, as it is still gentle and moisterizing but with less white cast than before. I can apply generously and reapply and it does not leave a noticeable whitecast on me, which is better than the previous version. I use this when I have to be outside for hours at a time and I have not burned and tanned very little. If you have sensitive skin and do not like the alcohol or fragrance in the normal version, this is an excellent option.

good coverage, but the smell is kind of bothersome

It's pretty easy to apply; I love how this brand gives you dots of sunscreen when you squeeze it for application since I do the pat method. I'm loyal to this brand above else. That said, the main downside is the smell. It's still there even after I shower and scrub it with a loofa.

my fave formulation so far

I was on the hunt for a HG sunscreen in 2019/2020 and tried the previous formulation of Anessa Mild Milk (the white top). it was fine, but left me oily (I have very oily skin) and never seemed to set. I ended up finding the Missha Aqua Gel and loving it, but when that was discontinued I decided to revisit the Mild Milk with the 2021 formula. I'm so glad I gave it another chance! Its perfect for my oily tret skin in the winter and is a PERFECT primer before foundation. Its definitely more expensive than what I'm used to but it's so high quality and cosmetically elegant. I love the finish it leaves on my skin even if I don't wear makeup - not too matte or dewy just soft and poreless.
