Absolutely have loved using this nappy bin. Really handy to have next to changing station and hold lots of nappies. The odour system is also really good and keeps smells at bay. Only downside is the price of the bag refills but i always keep an eye out for offers or dupes on ebay. Definitely worth it

Flimsy and poor quality

Flimsy, and poorly designed! Had to return this item as it would not fit together at all! Would have returned anyway as it's such bendy plastic - felt cheap and not good quality at all! Have since bought another nappy bin from a different manufacturer- much more sturdy and not at all complicated to put together! Would not recommend- sorry!

Great Idea - not just for nappies.

For any sanitary disposal needs, whatever age the person is, this is a great little bin. Easy to keep clean it is smart, and keeps inquisitive little fingers out. Local councils state that any personal hygene products have to be double wrapped before putting in the refuse bin. All the wet wipes that people try and flush away, should also go in a bin like this one. I think it is a super idea and keeps the home clean and sweet smelling and the sewers clear.

Highly recommend disposing of the nappies daily though for hygiene reasons.Very happy with this product!

This is such a great price and it actually works! I've just had my second baby and other nappy bin I used to have that twisted the nappies was awful the house always smelt and as soon as you emptied the bin all the nappies untwisted so you ended up using too much of the film. Also used the QR code to buy some extra refills at a discount from the Angelcare website. Super!!

Much Better Than The Others

Bought a tommee tipper bin to start - but it's fiddly, it smells, fills up quick, and the whole twist thing didn't work well. I found it so frustrating I looked for another.Purchased this one and it's better in every single way. It's so easy to put a new cartridge in. It holds more nappies. It doesn't smell as bad either. And overall it's just easier. You just push a dirty nappy in and you're done!

Not okay

Disappointed with the nappy bin! My son wets a lot and even though he is frequently changed, his nappies are bulky so they are very hard to push through the top. Sometimes I can't get them in at all and end up having to put them in the household bin. Even if I press and compact them. The opening at the top definitely needs to be wider.The other complaint I have about it is the plastic slips out of the cassette resulting in plastic wastage. I had this nappy bin before for one of my other children about 5 years ago and I am disappointed that the design hasn't been changed as this was also an issue with it before

Great bin. Hides smells very well. The only downside is that the discs that go into the nappy bin need frequently replacing, especially if you are using reusable nappies.

So useful and space saving…

We were putting used nappies into individual nappy sacks and the wheelie bin was filling up fast. These bags keep the nappies nice and compact because you can squeeze the air out when you come to empty it and knot the end and it takes less room in the bin. I would say we put four in the bin over a two week period. We have fortnightly collections. We use size three nappies so the cassette are only lasting around 2.5 weeks. The cassettes aren’t cheap but you just have to shop around and stock up. For number 2 nappies we put into a nappy sack and then into the nappy bin to help reduce the smell.

This is a compact and discreet item that will save the fuss, smells and unpleasantness generally associated with new babies and multiple nappy changes involved! Having used one myself, it was an obvious choice as a gift for my brother and sister-in-law when their little one arrived.
