I'm a longtime Animal Crossing fan and I've played every single game all the way back to the OG Gamecube title. And as much as I love New Horizons (the Switch installment), it's just missing a lot of the charm that New Leaf got so well. The villagers have more personality, you have a more dignified role as mayor, there's so much more the player can do each day. New Leaf is easily the best title in the franchise, and I hope Nintendo can revisit some of its features in their next one.

I played this game during my highschool years. It was such a relaxing game that doesn't require a lot of energy or concentration. I enjoyed playing this game during my free time. Though it looks childish but it is very addictive once you get into it. It was fun to dig around for gryoids, catching different kinds of bugs/fish, finding unexpected things in the dumpster and doing errands for the villiagers. I spent a lot of time foraging, fishing and selling items to Tom Nook to get money for home upgrades and buying matching furniture sets. I also loved getting customized outfits at the Able sister's and decorating my home. Different seasons and festivals/events activities were nice! First animal crossing game I played on my own. And it’s my all time favorite animal crossing game. I used to watch my brother play City folk and as much as I love everything about that game and the nostalgia I feel when playing it or any time I hear the soundtrack, new leaf was one of my all time fave storylines. This could be the nostalgia of it of course but still… New Leaf will always own my heart.

I play this when I'm feeling anxious and depressed and it actually helps me calm down and relax, something about the music and gentle soothing world helps me recenter myself and calm down. I would spend hours swimming in the ocean and catching sea creatures until I eventually got stung by a jellyfish. At the time I was too little to appreciate the soundtrack but I love it so much and I listen to it when I study. Amazing!!! I loaded it up and it was amazing!!! Bonus cool points in my book: the old save file was still in tact! I love old save files!!! I played around a bit, but eventually wanted to started from new as I had never played New Leaf before. It is such a cute game! Rivals New Horizons, even! Only downside is the 3ds Shop is closed, so I am not sure how it affects the game.... so far it does not seem to affect anything I have ran into. Maybe the Showcase, I don't think any houses showed up there for me, for some reason. Bit sad, but no biggie really. Villager dialog is 1000% better than New Horizons dialog!My 2nd order from Dk Oldies and very happy! Animal Crossing New Leaf is a great life simulation game. It’s addictive, allows customisation and as this game was such a success, Nintendo shall be releasing a new Animal Crossing on the Switch later in the year. For instance they move into your flower garden with rare flowers, or block the view of an expensive public works project, but in this rare case, you can wait it out and recommend the villager to leave town in which the game is rewarding you for your patience. On Main Street there lies the shops you start with: the photo booth, ‘Nook’s Homes’, ‘Nookling Junction’, ‘Able Sisters’ and the muesuem, and the more you play, the more shops you unlock - not just on Main Street - and Nintendo rewards you for continuing to play such as Streetpass options and travelling to towns in your characters sleep, and much more. Some glitches have occurred before the update in 2016 with the CAT machine and have been removed so now you don’t glitch into Town Hall when you’re celebrating a festival, or fall into the sea with a pharaoh mask and unlock the swimming option without a swimsuit, which in my opinion is great since the creators are still paying attention to New Leaf and keeping the anticipated fandom attended to. However, I don’t want too spoil much of the game to newcomers of Animal Crossing New Leaf, so all in all, this is a great example of a successful Nintendo game and I can’t wait for the upcoming Animal Crossing games or better yet any future Nintendo games!

Animal crossing new leaf is widely known as the best game in the animal crossing series so after coming home from high school, my nan told me that it hadn't arrived then she gave me a huge grin, at that point I smiled and said "your lying aren't you?" she then told me it was in my room on my bed. I couldn't wait to try out my long awaited delivery as I tore the letter open. It was in perfect condition, although since it was used someone had already had a save on it, so I pressed new game and then started my first animal crossing new leaf playthrough. So thank you, Webuy for the free delivery all the way from new Zealand.

[Rewarded Review] Turning over a New Leaf

So the switch is about to be replaced and the DS systems are just nostalgic now, but I really wanted to have fun playing an older system game, I mainly play Pokémon, but had got a little burnt out so I started Animal Crossing on the switch and I am enjoying it, but I kept seeing challenge videos about New Leaf on YouTube and it made me want to add it to my collection and play it. So far so good, I feel like I like New Horizons better, but New Leaf is enjoyable in its on right, granted I’m not very far in the game, but I appreciate being able to play it.
