This Anker 120W charger is half the size of the Apple 96W charger and has two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. The USB-C1/C2 ports supports USB PD fast charging at 20V/5A for MacBook Pro, 15V/3A for iPad Pro, 9V/3A for iPhone, 5V/3A for Apple Watch. The USB-A port provides 12V/1.5A and 5V/4.5A/3A. If only C1/C2 is used, that port gets 100W power. If both C1/C2 is used, each port gets 60W power. If all three ports are used, C1 gets 96W, C2 and USB-A gets 12W each. This charger has power factor correction at 30W loads and higher. Charging a MacBook Pro will enable these power efficiency benefits.Tested the charger with MacBook Pro, iPhone and Apple Watch. Fast charging works when using the USB-C ports. It doesn’t put out wattage as what it claims. For instance, the usb-a claims to put out 22.5w. I plugged every device I owned into it and could only get a max of 13w including my MacBook Pro. I called Anker and they said you can get 22.5w IF you plug in a Huawei phone. Never heard of this brand so I looked it up and come to find out it’s banned from being sold in USA… They don’t tell you that in advertising. Plus, was never able to get more than around 84w when having 3 devices plugged in that should be using well over 115w. Anyone giving this a good review obviously doesn’t test their claims with a wattage meter. Customer service was not helpful either. Never getting another Anker product.

Yes, this is an expensive charging brick ($95 normally, I bought on a flash sale for $65), but absolutely worth it if you travel with a laptop that requires a high-wattage power source.I have a Razer Stealth 13 (2021) that requires a 100w power supply. Packing up and traveling with the huge, bulky OEM charger was always a giant pain. Replacing it with the Anker 737 120W has been an absolute game changer and worth every penny.I’m also reaping the benefit of having additional charging slots that can simultaneously fast-charge my phone and other devices, which saves me the hassle of traveling with a separate 20w brick to fast-charge my phone or 45w brick for my Steam Deck. The bulk this has cut out of my laptop bag has been an absolute pleasure.Do note that while ... MoreYes, this is an expensive charging brick ($95 normally, I bought on a flash sale for $65), but absolutely worth it if you travel with a laptop that requires a high-wattage power source.I have a Razer Stealth 13 (2021) that requires a 100w power supply. Totally fine for my use case, but if you need over 100w to a single laptop or device, you’ll want to look elsewhere. This would be overkill if you have a lower-power (~45w) laptop or just tablets/portables; and the 65w Anker 735 would be more than enough for you.But if you have a 100w laptop and want to simplify the heck outta your travel setup, I cannot recommend this charger enough. 10/10

Got on sale for $70 and at that price point 120w with three ports is amazing. The charger itself is surprisingly small but still heavy and can sag in certain outlets. There is a small attachment provided to help hold the charger in place if you have very loose outlets. The max speed of either usb c port is 100w, but that’s alright as I don’t have anything that can pull more than that. It’s great for my on the go setup for charging laptop, phone, iPad, watch and anything else. Much better than carrying multiple chargers, and it’s smaller than my Apple 96W charger while having more ports! At regular price it’s still very good but I’d recommend waiting for a sale or grabbing the warehouse deals.
tldr: This is Amazing charger for the size, but requires your devices to have good support for Intelligent Power Allocation (Apple devices work great, Steam Deck has some tradeoffs). You sacrifice some compatibility on less capable devices for extremely small size .I bought this as a do-it-all travel charger for my phone laptop and steam deck. It works fine for the MacBook Pro (@100W charge) and iPhone and iPad, but it is not outputting a 45W charge for a Steam Deck (15V 3A).After reaching out to Anker, I figured out what was going on: The charger relies on a technology called "Intelligent Power Allocation" where devices can negotiate their optimal charge voltage. However, (probably due to size tradeoffs) the 45W+ charge ranges requires the device to support dynamic charge voltages, since other devices might be plugged into the charger at any time. The Steam Deck does not seem to support this IPA feature very well, and so it opts for a 9V (27W) which isn't subject to the dynamic voltage requirements. e.g. this charger will only output the higher Watt charge ranges if the device supports that Wattage to suddenly drop. The Steam deck does not, and so it opts for the lower, stable 27W (9V) range. Anker says this is enough to charge the Steam Deck in a compatible speed as the 45W charge, which may be true when the device is idle, however in my testing the 9V power source results in a slow battery drain when under load of a game like Death Stranding. This is replacing my PowerPort Atom PD 4 for my travel charger, but I will also be picking up the 45W nano charger for the steam deck. Even going from 2 chargers to 1, the newer smaller ones save room and weight. If it could somehow work with devices lacking IPA support it would be a 5 star device, but given the tradeoffs and some understanding what's actually going on, I would rate it as a 4.
Look no further than this review of the Anker 737 GaNPrime 120W charger. Anything I tell you in this review if it detriments you, it detriments me; and I’m not going to have that. This will be advice well taken by me before you buy this charger. This is a 120W fast charger. Tom Cruise doesn’t even have a charger this fast. I’m telling you right now he doesn’t. Absolute top-of-the-line. You can’t get any better than this fast charger. This charger, yeah, it’s a little big on the sides, but it gets the job done nicely. With this fast charger, I can charge anything I want whenever I want. I can even charge multiple devices simultaneously with two USB C ports and one USB port. I have a technical mindset and midframe. The Anker 737 GaNPrime 120W charger is an investment that will last your lifetime and my lifetime. Even using this for one day or one hour, it pays for itself. As you can see from the photos attached, I have kept my old white charger to remind me where I came from. I came from a time when it would take me hours to charge my phone to charging my phone in half the time. I might even pass that old charger down generations to show everyone. I came from nothing to something thanks to Anker.
I read so many reviews here about this charger coming loosen due to its weight and longer dimensions - those reviews made me second guess whether this charger was worth trying. Luckily, I went through with the purchase and am super happy that I bought it.Having used it for a week, I have charged multiple devices at work, at home, and at a hotel and I can say that I did not have any issues with the charger staying attached to the wall without the suction device (that looks super tacky, by the way). I wonder what kind of outlets people are using this with that is causing their Ankers to fall out. Anyhow, this 120W charger covers all the devices I own, by itself, and will be my primary charger while traveling. That said, my work bag has THREE series-7 Anker chargers (715, 727 and 737) and I have to say this is pretty much my favorite, with the 727 at a close second place. If you can find this at a good sale price, it really is a great option that covers most of the devices out there.
I am an avid lover and user of all things Anker due to the strength and quality of their products. One might say I have a slight obsession but I call it passion for such consistence in producing exemplary products. I never thought there’d come a day when I would be disappointed but alas with this purchase I was. I bought this used, but in excellent condition, from Anker and it remained dead right out of the box. Multiple outlets and several chargers later, I finally called time of death and laid it back to rest in its box. I can say this is the only instance I’ve ever faced of an Anker product failure thus far and so that is the reasoning behind the 4 stars. I honestly think it should be 5 stars as I’m sure it would’ve been great had it worked. I don’t foresee it ... MoreI am an avid lover and user of all things Anker due to the strength and quality of their products. I finally got tired of lugging around the 65W power brick and two cords that came with my company-issued laptop and ordered this Anker charger. Anker has been my “go to” provider of chargers, battery packs and cables for many years so I purchased this item in complete confidence. This is a fantastic charger; compact, extremely powerful, and technologically advanced with Anker’s IQ power management system. I strongly recommend this charger for anyone who carries an office in a backpack and needs a lightweight, low volume but powerful and versatile charger for laptop, tablet and mobile phone.
