Absolutely LOVE these battery packs! To be clear, I got the 10000mah PowerCore Select from WalMart (could not find it on here, oddly), but this one seems to be the closest in relation to features and power delivery.I use this battery to power my Oculus Quest 2 while using Virtual Desktop (sideloaded with SideQuest) to play my PCVR games from Steam. It actually charges the headset FASTER than the headset can drain with its 2.4A power draw.I will say this, I have it in my back pocket when I play and it likes to slide down deep, which feels a bit odd, but is manageable as long as you have a long enough cable. ALSO, if you do play on a Quest (2) this way, I HIGHLY recommend the AMVR fixing bracket for the standard, elite, and Deluxe Audio Strap (an HTC Vive strap mod) ... This way, you can mount it to the back of the strap and use it as a powered counterweight!Cost me 30 bucks at WalMart, and I would definitely give this a shot. I would think this can offer about 8 hours of playtime on the headset!

Perfect pocket sizing for a really long lasting battery. Lots of power for two items. Charging the battery is best done over night as the charging is limited to the old usb mini port. The batter last a long time so it stands to reason that the battery will take some time to charge. One perk of this model is the battery charge port is dual function. New Usb-C versions don't have this capability. It is possible to charge a third device using the USB mini port that you use to charge the battery. In this model it doubles as a third charging port if you have an adapter for any standard usb-a to usb-b or mini usb. The usb mini goes to the battery and the device connection adapter has to fit the standard usb-a and convert it to what ever else you needed to connect to ... I received this very same power bank for Christmas from a friend a few years back.. I ended up losing it and I immediately went on Amazon to replace it because I can NOT live without this. It charges my phone multiple charges as well as other devices. I love that it has two USB ports so I can charge two things at once. I use this in my everyday life, not just for traveling but it is especially great for airplane rides. It is definitely worth the money, the battery is very large.. I have had previous power banks in the past that didn't have the biggest battery.. so after one phone charge I would also have to charge the power bank.. being that I am a little lazy, I never kept up with this. We had this product for a bit over a year, then it stopped working. I would show three lights, and blink the fourth when charging; however, if I pressed the button, all four will flash and not work. It wouldn’t charge my phone nor would it hold a charge. Tried resetting the battery to no avail and decided to go to the Anker website for support. I called them, and spoke to Israel, who immediately resolved my issue since I was within the 18 month warranty period by issuing me another one. Best customer service ever! There was no hold time, he validated some stuff, and I receive confirmation email of my Anker being approved for the warranty. The battery is excellent, the customer service even more amazing. I have bought many Anker products and will continue to do so. I ... MoreWe had this product for a bit over a year, then it stopped working. I used this power bank with an iPhone 6s Plus. Here’s what I thought based on that. The Pros: Charges your device really fast and charges it multiple times before the power bank needs to be recharged itself, very well made and durable, you can use whatever you’re charging while it’s charging, comes with a nice carrying bag.The Cons: NOT lightweight. It takes very long to fully charge the power bank. When I first received it, it was charged to 2 out of 4 bars and it took 7 hours to fully charge it to the 4 bars, so I would suggest charging it overnight if you need it fully charged for the next day. The USB charger that comes with it is NOT iPhone compatible. I just used my iPhone charging cord to connect it to my iPhone.Even tho it didn’t come with a usb cord ... First off I gotta say the anker power core 1300 is probably 1 of the best Tech buys for me in a long time, Right next to the latest vr equipment! I purchased this power core to act as an external power supply for my Oculus 2 headset, it came at 50% and took a bit to charge, after it was done I started my diy project (see pictures). I bought Everything Anker, A usb a to usb c cable from amazon 6ft but honestly 3 is better but they were out so I just made the best from what I had, than I purchased a very highly rated Anker brand wall charger, designed to power their cores, its a 2 usb plus wall charger, 35 wats. I jury rigged the battery core to the back of my headset easily using Velcro brand, than reinforced it with another small piece loop some of the extra usb-c ... I jury rigged the battery core to the back of my headset easily using Velcro brand, than reinforced it with another small piece loop some of the extra usb-c cable, looped another piece through my headset and presto! Instant all night with my quest 2! All this can be seen with included photos!Performance: With all cables and charger Anker I shouldn't have any issues but thus far I haven't had to charge the power core much, to my astonishment I was able to spend more than 4 hours in The walking dead saints and sinners, a very demanding quest vr game, The battery was still at 93%! While without the battery I cant stay in vr longer than 3 hours, now I believed its rated between 8-10 perhaps 12, while less capable power cores "10000mah can only do about 6-7... At 25$ on sale, this power core is honestly a steal and changed my vr game, was pleasantly surprised how well it works with my headset and how simple it was to jury rig this set up! If you're looking for a quality battery for your vr setup I can't recommend this enough! Especially for travel, grandparents house or just showing off your quest? Get this bad boy already! Thank you ANKER!
Purchased the PowerCore 10400 in October 2015, & the PowerCore 13000 in June 2016. These are impressive even after 6 & 5 years. In between uses, they hold their charge nicely. The 13000 was fully charged in November 2020, & when I took it out to use in June 2021, it was still at 75%! Granted, I don't use it on a daily basis, but I'm confident it will always be ready when I need it. It is small enough that I can toss one in my purse, gym bag, or coat pocket. When I got a phone with USB-C, I purchased the Anker USB-C to Micro USB Adapter 4-pack, & it still works seamlessly! Very glad to have found this charger! It's about as sleek and stylish as your favorite cell phone accessory could be. Steve Jobs might even be an admirer were he around today. Epic size to pack so much portable charging power, about the size of a deck of playing cards (or a man's small wallet).Intuitive. Just plugged it in with included cable and brought it from 50% to 100% in a few hours (shamelessly using one of my trusty Anker chargers). Found one of my 1 foot USB-A to USB-C cables and plugged my phone in and within less than an hour it turbo charged from 56% to 100%. The charge level of the PowerCore charger didn't even take a dint. Handy portable unit that I can just stick in my pocket for those times when the phone needs a quick recharge on the go. Definitely ... MoreVery glad to have found this charger! Definitely recommend this charger due to quality compact construction, value and performance.Anker makes great products. I found them about 10 years ago when searching for quality and reliable charging products, became an immediate fan, and have continued to look to them for my charging needs without disappointment. So far, so good!
There's nothing to dislike about Anker's latest compact portable charger. I owned the older, much larger (about twice the length) Anker Portable Charger and she lasted 4 years with solid performance! I dropped that one so many times, as high as 4 feet, and my goodness it was DURABLE! It would get scuffed obviously, but refused to break. The only problem with that one is it didnt fit in my pocket. This one, one the other hand, DOES. It almost fits in the palm of my hands. It has less battery life than my previous Anker charger, but that makes sense since its half the size. Still, it has plenty of battery life and you can charge it overnight when needed to. I purchased this for emergencies. Living in a hurricane prone area, this gives piece of mind knowing that you have the ability to charge your cell phone, not once, but several times. Do recommend you purchase the charging cable for your phone (unless you have a spare) as it only comes with the cable to charge the Anker charger only. The mesh pouch for the charger is a plus because you can keep charger and cables together. I bought my wife the 6700mAh Astro E1 charger so she has one to carry in her purse (she likes the smaller size). Anker products are worth the price and have a size for just about everyone's needs. Since then I have charged my iPhone 7+ twice and have 3 of the 4 indicator lights left. This unit has 2 usb outlets for charging 2 items simultaneously should you have a need to. An excellent product, excellent customer support, you can't go wrong with Anker. I would definitely recommend Anker to any individual looking for a portable charger. I have plans on reviewing my review at the end of November.
