It is a great mulch except that it has a major problem in that the product is full of weed seeds. The area that I mulched grew weeds that had not been previously seen in our garden, especially water couch, which is an absolute mongrel to eliminate due to its matting root system. Only Glysophate would work. Now will use wood chip
Brilliant product. It’s my go-to for a tidy looking garden mulch. Fine particles and scent of eucalyptus. Good coverage. Good value!
Bought yesterday at Kembla Grange. Colouring is brown/black as opposed to tan. Consistency is more like soil, rather then eucalyptus mulch - disappointing. It does provide around 1sqm as suggested.
Purchased 4 bags yesterday, very unhappy with this product as it is not eucalypus mulch, has some sort of manure in it. Smells terrible & nothing like eucalypus. Hope it doesn’t kill my native plants.
This does the job but it’s not the lovely eucalyptus mulch I remember. More a mixture of something like dynamic lifter and mulch. Hard to buy the right thing when you’re in lockdown. Ha.
Just put this on the garden as we have for years and although it’s a great product. The smell is beyond words. It use to let off the smell of eucalyptus now it’s like manure! ANL eucalyptus mulch smells like “Anl” if you get my drift!
When I first starting using this mulch it was of a fine consistency (ie no large clumps of timber or twigs), it had the sweet eucalyptus fragrance, and absorbed moisture. Now it's the opposite of the above, stinks, and more expensive. Come on ANL focus more on theoriginal quality instead of maximum ripoff of consumers for more profit, you will increase sales there by profit with an improved reputation for quality. Remember consumers arenot as stupid, and gullible as most producers and marketeers think.
