I needed a lightweight, portable monitor for ad-hoc WFH setups, and this monitor completely filled my needs. - For Mac users, rotation of the monitor is different than what the PDF of the product manual dictates: you do not need additional drivers. On the Mac, go to Settings > Displays and use the "rotate monitor" option to rotate the monitor from landscape to portrait. - If you don't have your laptop plugged into a power source, this monitor will rapidly drain your battery power. - Don't make the mistake of using an Apple USB-C cable like I did. Apple's cables are power only, and you need to use the included USB-C cable because it is a data+power cable. At the price point I purchased, I am happy with the monitor.

For anyone that can't get this monitor to work on a desktop with adapters or anything else like it. I can confirm. That this monitor works with Nvidia RTX cards. The usb-c connector included with my 2060 is able to power AND display picture at 1080p. Unfortunate no one else was able to confirm this for me before i purchased the card. But hey, i'm here for the rest of you out there looking for confirmation that this solution works. So far everything is great. I will update in the coming month or so to let you know how things are going. EDIT: It's been a month. Still works perfectly. Gone on 2 trips taking my pc with me and it has served me well. Highly recommend.
This monitor has a great display, is lightweight and is very easy to use. I just plugged it into my laptop and it worked no issues. I did end up downloading the drivers from the AOC website (my laptop doesnt have a cd drive) just to be sure. The stand has 2 height options which is great, as is the case that came with it. This is a great product.
I've only had the monitor for a day so far, but everything works great! The brightness exceeds my expectations and it has really good quality. Normally I'm skeptical when buying refurbished electronics, but this was definitely worth the gamble! The only evidence that it's used was a sticker smudge on the back which I was able to remove! It powered on and connected fine, no problems!
I've had mine for a year now. Before Covid I was away from my home office about 200 days a year. Fits inside the neoprene sleeve with my thinkpad. This monitor has worked flawlessly. My work flow is mostly cad with some multi task spread sheets and data base on the side, and the extra screen is a must have. I am often tempted to buy an additional unit I enjoy it that much. I wish they made a 17" version !
I would recommend this but I would also tell you to reach out to the seller to make sure the cable is included. I have two of these plugged into my laptop and they are working perfectly. (On of these is a new AOC I bought a few months ago, but I didn't want to pay as much for a second monitor, thus the refurb. Mind you because I did have a new one this is why I could express the issues I have in the con section). Overall it is a sound device.
Pros: no independent power supply needed. truly portable. comes with a caseCons: resolution isn't great. screen is great for portability but a bit small for use.
Pros: This screen is absolutely brilliant, very sharp quality view, lightweight, includes the necessary lead to connect to your computer, a lovely bag and a great price :-)
