I’ve been using AO Sept Plus for many years on the advice of my optometrist. Now there’s a further product called AO Sept Plus with Hydraglyde which my new optometrist has advised me to use. I don’t notice much difference between the two products but I’m of the opinion that this method is the best one for cleaning my contact lenses. I feel that this method gets rid of protein deposits and gives my lenses a good clean. Chemist Warehouse seems to be the best value.

Being a contact wearer for many years and trying many solutions, i have found that AO Sept is the best and so easy to use. Just pop them in for 6 hours or longer and then they are ready to wear again! For all day comfort as well. Never use any other product unless I am just desperate.

My son has hard contact lenses which need cleaning every day. In the past he would be using a solution to clean manually but with this product this has been done away. Just add the lenses to the solution in the provided container.
Refuse to ever go back to the old cleaning solutions. This stuff is so good. No rubbing needed. I also loce watching the bubbles fizz up when I place my contacts in the solution.The only time I would use the usual contact cleaning solution is if the time between me removing my contacts and needing to put them back in is sooner than 6-8hours as its still working its magic during that time and may sting if you put them in your eyes too soon.I do however highly recommend. My daughter has hard contacts and I have soft and we both use it.
I wear Rigid Gas Permeable lenses ($1000 a lens ... so need to look after them) and this cleans them BEAUTIFULLY. My previous experiences had me rinsing protein crud off and then sterilising them. Fiddly and time-consuming.Not now.Wack them in one of the cages they provide (be careful they don't snap and break the lenses ... hasn't happened but can see it as a possibility) and then in the AOSept ... wait six hours ... done!! Clean, polished, and ready to wear.Cannot recommend this product highly enough!!
I use this solution on my monthly disposable contacts. Before using this solution contacts would get more uncomfortable as the end of the month approached but this changes all that...comfy lenses all day
I’ve got really dry eyes that are sensitive to say the least. This is the best deep cleaning agent out there. Don’t bother trying anything out there as you will just come back to this. Great to stock up when they go on sale!
I use this for my lenses and it provides the most thorough cleaning. The system is easy to use and handy for traveling with the travel sized solution.
After spending ages each morning scrubbing contact lenses I was amazed to discover this fab system! Just pop the lenses into the special container provided and soak over night in AOsept solution. It bubbles and fizzes away all the grime. Cleanest contact lenses I ever had! Never going back to scrubbing again :)
