Already Seeing Results After 1st Treatment!
19 September 2020

originally posted on petco.com

I noticed some signs of Ich in my aquarium yesterday. Ordered this product from PetCo via Instacart and immediately did the first treatment as soon as it was delivered (same day). Today I can already see a difference. This product is definitely working. Did the second treatment today and I hope the fish continue to improve! As far as I can tell this product really works, and it doesn't turn your water a bad color, unlike other similar products I researched online. It does cause a little bubbles in the top of the aquarium, but that's it. I'll update this review in a few days. Hopefully I'll be able to report that all my Tetra Glo Fish survived! Thanks API Pimafix for providing a good product!

I recently purchased Pimafix because it was recommended to help a moldy looking fungal infection on the tail of my fantail goldfish. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because I have not yet completed the recommended treatment days (7) because I accidentally over calculated the amount to put in my 45 galling tank. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS WHEN DOSING THIS PRODUCT!!!! It’s EXTREMELY potent, and actually killed 2 of my goldfish in the tank. I would suggest trying half the dosage on the bottle for your tank size on the first day to see how your fish respond to it. I wish someone had told me to be careful with the product which is why I wanted to write this review, and there was little to no information out there regarding the impact of ‘Bay Oil’, the primary ingredient in ... MoreI recently purchased Pimafix because it was recommended to help a moldy looking fungal infection on the tail of my fantail goldfish. If you do happen to overdose like me, in hindsight it would have been better to immediately remove the fish rather than doing a 30% wc as suggested by an employee.I hope this helps anyone in need!!

Best stuff on Earth to heal Tropical Fish

I've always used MelaFix along with PimaFix to heal my tropical fish when ailing from slime coat problems, split fins or injuries from nippy fish. Unfortunately in a contained environment fish can suffer from these problems due to water conditions, temperature, and aggressive fish. Correcting these problems can help the fish but they still need a little help along the way to heal quicker and feel more comfortable. I use both products together at the same time as directed on the bottle. When slime coat problems arise and I add the medications I notice that the healing begins within hours. The fish looks so much better and start acting normal again. When using these medications for split fins or injuries I see them healing within a few days. Disappointed
17 July 2024

I followed the directions on the bottle. States it treats and prevents fish from getting infected. Well a total of nine fish died! The infection went from one fish to another. One weird thing is that the three fish I had started with was the only ones that made it, plus two fry. Feel it was a waste of money buying the two treatments I did. I am nervous to try the other medication and lose the rest.

Excellent!!
18 May 2022

This stuff saved my fish. I had two fish die within a few hours of each other, wasn’t sure what I was doing wrong. I tested the water, ph levels, ammonia, nitrate, nitrites and everything was perfect. My betta began showing signs of fin rot, or something along those lines, so I did some research and decided to get this. It fixed the problem within a day. I really thought all my fish were going to die but this, along with the Melafix, cured everything. I used both simultaneously, as instructed. If you’re on the fence about getting it. Buy it. Every fish owner should have these on hand, because it can be difficult to determine what the exact problem is, so having one thing that fixes it all, is a godsend.

Murdered fish, not fungus
29 February 2024

One of my corydora catfish had a little bit of fungus on its fin. I dosed the required amount in the tank and it almost immediately killed 5 of my pencil fish. The cory's fungus was not cured.

Not for Betta, I don't know about other fish
29 June 2021

I don't know about your fish, but do not buy for Betta or other labyrinth lung fish. I watched my betta nearly die upon the 4th dose of this. He was drowning, and hugging the filter, until I quickly (relatively considering tank acclamation) moved him to a new tank where he immediately started acting normal. Fish people swear this is a miracle for their non-labyrinth lung fish. Just I would stress not to buy this for Betta treatment.

Pimafix saved my Chili Rasbora fish
27 September 2020

Yesterday, I was disturbed to find one of my most brilliantly colored Chili Rasbora fish swimming with a white fuzzy growth on his body which looked like a fungus infection. Knowing from experience the importance of treating fish quickly as soon as symptoms are observed, I immediately treated my 10-gallon tank with Pimafix. To my pleasant surprise, the following day, there was no sign of the fungus infection on my fish, and my fish was swimming energetically. I highly recommend this product.

REALLY WORKS!
28 September 2020

if u were wondering if this does work or if it doesnt, here is my respond. yes, it does work. I noticed some white patches on my Fish, but I treated them with the CORRECT dose and In about 2-3 days they were all healthy no white spots or any fungal infections on them. Also If you're wondering what brand is best, in my opinion it's API. I have been using their products for a year now and they always work, which is why I always use API. only other brand behind it is prolly Tetra since their products are pretty good but my opinion API are best.

Used with melafix to treat pop eye in EBJD
26 May 2024

I dont think these are really the strongest acting types of infection medications you can get but this is all I could find quickly that was definitely safe to use on my ebjd. She still needs salt baths and it didnt really clear the infection as Id hoped even with a second week of dosing. Mags did start swimming above the bottom again and is eating more at times but shes still sick. Mixed opinions, she would have died without it but shes still sick
