The Expedition Frame Pack is designed for storing items within the main triangle, creating a lower centre of gravity and enabling more natural bike handling. The frame bag securely fastens to the top tube with velcro straps, and is useful for storing heavier items as part of a larger bikepacking setup. The result is an even, balanced load, making longer tours and multi-day trips more comfortable. The frame bag is equally useful when used on its own for storing essentials on a daily commute. It’s constructed from a lightweight fabric, custom milled to Apidura’s specifications and welded together at the seams to create a watertight seal. Zippers with protected closures ensure that kit stays dry, even in a sustained downpour. A battery lead/hydration hose port is handy for charging devices or staying hydrated on the road. Our frame bag sizing tool. will help you work out what size frame bag fits your frame and whether you have a Tall or Compact head tube.

Nice bag with a high quality feel. Big enough for my needs but the only thing I don’t like is that my larger quads do skim the bag even when empty but thankfully the material is super smooth and doesn’t cause a friction rub! Love it!

Can’t fault the quality 5/5. However, like all Apidura products very expensive for a bag.Top quality though and great zip pull

When choosing a bag I wanted something with a good amount of easy to access storage for long distance road rides (audax). The Expedition 5.3L frame pack is the perfect addition to my audax setup. I'm using the bag on a custom 57.5cm C-C cyclocross frame with top of top tube cable routing. There's just enough room under the bag to use two 550ml water bottles. The bag's adjustable front strap allows for a perfect fit, even with the cables and braze-ons. The left pocket is flat and is great for holding a brevet card, bars, and batteries. One small issue I had if the bag isn't packed well was the rear of the bag bulging and brushing my knees. This can be avoided by packing well or pushing things around from the outside of the bag while riding. I haven't tested the waterproofness of the bag yet, but the welded seams seem very solid. I also plan on using this bag for off-road bike packing and I'm very confident it will hold up well.Overall this is an excellent bag that I would highly recommend for on- or off-road use.

I wanted a quality frame bag for gravel rides. The Expedition 3.0 L frame pack is the perfect size for me. The 5 L would not fit my frame.I'm using the bag on a Santa Cruz frame. Good materials, the bag is light and sturdy, can fit various frames. Pockets are large enough. Good visibility inside bag.
Fits perfectly on my Cervelo Aspero size 58, as recommended by Apidura's website. Dealing with Sigma was flawless yet again. Fantastic quality bags, can't go wrong with Apidura
I bought this waterproof pack to replace an existing one on a recent tour. It proved itself impeccably as the first day it rained continually for 6 hours over the moors. I would recommend it to anyone.
I have so far used this for a 4 day backpacking trip (with the matching Apidura saddle pack and top tube bag) and it was fantastic. It fits my new custom Forwards GR20 gravel bike which only has a 49cm frame really well. I travelled around 300 miles, and the bag was barely noticeable. Combined with the other bags in the range I could carry everything I needed easily.
Pros: A very well made and reasonably spacious bag. The 6.5l version which I bought fits my bike's frame like a glove. The bags kept my belongings dry on rainy days. Cons: It's expensive for what it is.
have used this a few times now, seems sturdy and waterproof and reasonably lightweight too. the length of the ties might need to be trimmed if your frame tube diameter is small.
