I love my iPad. I probably bought more storage than I need because I wasn't sure what it equated to so that's a bit frustrating but my own lack of knowledge. It does everything I need. I use it for the usual emails, streaming tv, film and music and also studying for my online qualification. It has great sound quality on it. I'm sure it does far more than I use or even know about. I was really pleased about the splitting screen feature but actually haven't had chance to use it yet.

This is my first Apple product. I did not know much about the I-Pad Pro. I purchased it because I needed a tablet and I never had an Apple product and wanted one. I searched on Youtube to view tutorials and reviews on the I-pad Pro after I got it. The reviews I read after my purchase state that it is a great tablet for a newbie or someone that has an older tablet that needs to upgrade. I guess I got lucky with my purchase. I am very impressed with the tablet and looking forwarded to learning more about Apple and this tablet.

I bought this iPad primarily to use while flying due to it being smaller than a 12.9 iPad. Having both the 11 inch and a 12.9 unfortunately I can’t tell a difference in the screen quality. The screen on the 12.9 iPad is so much brighter and crisp then on the 11 inch iPad. While the screen resolution is really good on the 11 inch it just doesn’t feel as vibrant as it is on the 12.9. If you’re deciding between 11 and 12.9 I highly recommend getting a 12.9. If you need more space in the cockpit, I say stick with the 11 or possibly consider a mini, but I think the 11 is better all around.

It’s heavy, feels heavier than my MacBook air (haven’t compared the actual weights). I wouldn’t say it’s actually user friendly- even for someone who has been using Apple products for a while. I read reviews that it could “replace a laptop.” But I haven’t found that to be true - I write a lot of documents and Microsoft word on my computer doesn’t work on this iPad (11in 2T). I spoke to Microsoft and they said I would need a separate subscription/purchase for the iPad (not iPads fault). Also, the drawing/picture editing apps aren’t the same as the computer options. They seem to have less functions available (and can’t purchase it have to have a subscription). Doesn’t seem to be any faster than my old MacBook Air (256GB, I think).
This is my 3rd IPad. I chose this model for a critical reason; the unlocked cell version contains the GPS electronics. I need this to use aviation moving maps . I also loaded up on internal memory for the same reason. I will say I was dissatisfied with the previous version as there are two items which will render the IPAD useless is a broken screen, not too bad because it is repairable and the USB charging port wearing out and was NOT REPAIRABLE! The older IPAD the usb was directly connected to the primary board and you might as well toss because it then could not be charged. The newer IPads have this circuit as a separate module. Having said this the IPad has a charging port which is separate. If you look on the back of the iPad there are three little dots. Those dots connect up to the very expensive IPAD key board and it can charge the internal battery without the wear and tear. Why do they not have a charging device which does not cost an arm and a leg? So that’s my complaint. Spend this kind of money and let a wearable part used every day which will eventually break. Are the designers brain dead? So the right to repair is something APPLE is Fighting. They reluctantly will supple parts but each part is coded to a particular serial number. I guess this is progress. So would I ever not buy an IPad? Nope in this day and time I cannot see me not being connected. I love the operation and the ease of use. Apple is fighting on another front not to have the iPad replace their equally great laptops. So they are careful not to let the systems overlap too much. So if you use apple products you will pay in more ways than one. I do believe they make superior products.
I upgraded from the M1 512gb to the M2 1tb. Did it mainly for the storage. But WOW it’s more of an upgrade than I originally thought. The M2 is noticeably faster. The Verizon 5GUW is AWESOME!!! It’s crazy how fast it is. Plus the Apple Pencil 2 hover feature is a ham changer if you use it for drawing and documents. Like a sleek preview mechanism. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE IPAD PRO M2!!!
I’ve had iPads since they were introduced. I decided it was time for a new one and splurged on the iPad Pro. I bought it on 2/11/23. I was so excited. I thought it was perfect. It was until 2/20 when the screen froze and there was no way for me to get it started. I couldn’t turn it off, I couldn’t even get the Apple logo to reset it. OK, so I went to a service center. They reset it and got it to work. I had to restore everything. Well, today (3/14/23) it happened again. I once again tried the internet solutions, but so far nothing has worked. I can’t restore it from my Mac either. I’m going to try and restore it from my PC tomorrow. I’m done for the day. I’ve had Apple products since the original Mac. I got an Apple Watch late last year. So I’m a fan girl from Day 1. Never have I had a dud like this iPad. Apparently this is a common problem given all the potential solutions on Apple Support and You Tube. If I can’t restore it myself, I’ll take it back in and see if the service center can “wipe” in again. And then… I’ll try to trade it in. For something else. I’m so done. Save your money.
I got this iPad Pro because I dropped and broke my last one and I had to revert to a even older iPad which only had 16GB. Needless to say very few applications could be on the older iPad. Onto the new one. I don't have an iPhone so the transfer of data was from the 16GB iPad. All other applications had to download one by one. This iPad is heavy, was thinking that Apple would use high tech light weight materials to build it, not the case. It isn't as heavy as a lap top, but still heavier than I thought it would be. I also thought that all the additional space would allow me to be in my bedroom at night and not have to wait for videos to load. It may be limited to me and my internet provider (AT&T). Another confusing item, it say 256GB with Wi-Fi, what does that mean? ... MoreI got this iPad Pro because I dropped and broke my last one and I had to revert to a even older iPad which only had 16GB. I am 67 years old and just may be in the dark concerning these things.
Coming from a fifth generation iPad, it was hard to get used to not having the button at the bottom. Also other things to get used to with new iOS, like when I swipe up from the bottom, the taskbar pops up first, when I’m used to minimizing the screen first. So you kind of have to continue swiping to shrink your browser window, or search through apps, not sure if I’m explaining that clearly, but when you swipe up to get all the open windows and apps, and you can flick them up to make them disappear, that’s the function I’m talking about. I also IMMEDIATELY noticed this speaker, improvement, and how light weight and thin the unit is. Though it’s not the HDR screen the larger pro has, I think the quality is great, again a big improvement from my iPad fifth generation. ... MoreComing from a fifth generation iPad, it was hard to get used to not having the button at the bottom. I also IMMEDIATELY noticed this speaker, improvement, and how light weight and thin the unit is. Though it’s not the HDR screen the larger pro has, I think the quality is great, again a big improvement from my iPad fifth generation. It looks bigger than my iPad fifth generation, but it doesn’t feel any heavier or harder to hold. I have not bought the keyboard for it, but I’m thinking about it as it is seems from online reviews kind of handy to not drag my laptop inside or further taking out my laptop, plugging it in, and going through all that when this is always charged and in my room. I can swipe through emails, search the web, check out YouTube, social media, real estate, all very easily, while lying in bed without any discomfort. I added a slim shell case, as I don’t like those other cases that cover and prop up, and feel bulky holding while sitting in bed, or on the couch. Battery also last twice as long as my four or five year old fifth-generation. A dislike is the power down feature , though, I think I can fix that in settings, and screenshot doesn’t feel natural either. It’s set up where I pinch the top button and top volume button meaning I have to grab the top corner together with fingers on both hands and doesn’t feel easy to do in hand and I have to rest the tablet on my stomach to hold pressure while pressing. Old method better and more secure using the two palms of my hand on two opposite ends of the tablet made it much easier to hold without feeling like the tablet is gonna fly out of my hand, or fall on the ground. Also the old method was easy, either horizontally or vertically. I guess I have to get used to it if I can’t fix it in settings, which I know there are a few settings like that which I need to explore. So I’ve heard it before, and now I agree, Apple needs to bring back the button!!!
I believe Microcenter is doing a good job in regards to helping customers. I did use the text to customer for the first time and it was a good experience. Although sometimes you still prefer to speak with someone in regards to finding a product. Also the product I picked up was a good product and worked out of the box but my issue that I was having was my Cellular services didn't work on it due to me being a former Sprint Customer and me having to migrate over to T Mobile and I found out some information that will help you and future buyers. Please make mention on your IPad Pro 11 4th generation that the cellular service doesn’t work with T Mobile if you migrated from Sprint to T Mobile you might experience issues connecting. Please make mention on your IPad Pro 11 4th generation that the cellular service doesn’t work with T Mobile if you migrated from Sprint to T Mobile you might experience issues connecting. Now there was no way of know this and when I called T Mobile none of the Reps new this. I had to go to multiple stores and only one person who was a formal Sprint employee new this. It needs to be explained to them that in order to put the Ipad Pro 11 4th generation on a T mobile account you will need to be fully migrated to a T Mobile plan if for some reason your have a cheaper plan then the newer plans then the other option would be to purchase the 6th Generation IPad pro 12.9 inch with Cellular and it should work. We tested the IPad Pro 11 4th generation with a tmobile only slim card and the IPad pro 11 4th generation did work but it was for someone who has a straight T Mobile account and not a migrated account. When the 6 generation IPad pro was purchased I immediately called T Mobile to check to see if it was compatible and they immediately said that the device was compatible and I was able to put it on a new line and new slim card without a issue and then cancel my other line that had my old Ipad device. This allowed me to do a fresh start on the device then I restored the I cloud backup. But I checked the imei number through t mobile first this time before I added all of my stuff back on.So please make sure this is noted in bold letters on your website for this device so other people who are in a similar situation want buy the wrong one and have to spend a day trying to figure this out like I did. I will be working to add this possibly to one of your reviews Remember: This device does work with a straight T Mobile account. This device will give you issues if you have a account that was mitigated from a Sprint to T Mobile. This review has nothing to do with Micro Center love this place and would recommend them to anyone. This is to help Formal sprint customers who want to upgrade their tablet to the new one and want to purchase it outright and add it to their existing account but dont know which one works if they have a migrated sprint account this took me from 11 am to 5 pm to get resolved so im going to help save other people time
