Not an iFan, but bought it to impress my wife. Yes my wife is impressed. The iPad Air is impressive. Could not give 5 stars due to the box arriving dirty that it looked refurbished. Never thought i would have to wipe a brand new $900 item clean before gifting it.Apparently it has to do with being environmentally friendly hence the lack of shrink wrap, so it comes with pullout tabs on the bottom, but i would have preferred a more sustainable pricetag to go along with it as well.Picture shows after wiping. Fortunate to have had bussing experience.

Quality:superbPerformance:excellentWhat do you expect from apple but great quality, stable product & superb performance.Between the air & pro, better get the air as it will meet 90% of all our needs. Unless you are flush with cash. The only downside is that you will need to buy the apple pencil pro as the other models will not work with this M2 air. The pencil usb c needs to be charged via the wire, which is inconvenient. But there are other cheaper alternatives such as the goojodoq pencil pencil gd13.Thank you Thundermatch for the super fast delivery of the product - 2 days after ordering!

Upgraded from the 5th air for school. My keyboard fit that I bought with it before but the second generation pencil doesn’t which is pretty annoying and I guess my fault for not checking since I didn’t even realize that was a thing. Especially since I bought an upgraded air, and the thing is only compatible with the old pencil or the pro, but the pro is less than the second generation pencil on the Apple site so it doesn’t make any sense to offer upgrades and not have compatible devices that were offered on original purchase. I also can’t tell if there’s any difference or not, it works just the same as my 5th generation and battery is okay. Nothing special. I would’ve kept my 5th gen air had I known nothing special update and no pencil

I upgraded from a sixth generation iPad. The old one was very sluggish. The iPad Air M2 chip is very quick. Websites that used to take forever to load (maybe 30 seconds) now load in just a few seconds. Wish I'd upgraded long ago.The iPad Air M2 is thin and light. The battery charge easily lasts, and I can usually stretch it to two days.I strongly recommend getting a quality shock resistant case. $600 is a lot of money to risk dropping and breaking.
I have used Apple products for more years than I can remember so maybe I am a little biased. This iPad is a replacement for an iPad Pro and it does not disappoint. It was easy to transfer apps and data from iCloud and the iPad is fast and does exactly what you would expect. It was quickly updated to iOS 18.0 without any issues although there were one or two adjustments I had to make but this is to do with the iOS not the iPad. It would have been nice to have Face id rather than Touch id but not a big issue and Apple moving away from Lightning connectors is a bit of a pain but that was really forced upon Apple so cannot blame them.I would knock half a star off as it does get quite hot with a lot of use. Again this may be an issue with the updated iOS.For someone ... MoreI have used Apple products for more years than I can remember so maybe I am a little biased. Got an iPad this week from Verizon and I love it - but I got a defective unit where the touchscreen responsiveness is inconsistent. I have to be touching the iPad physically (the back or aluminum casing) for it to recognize touch. In other words if you use this for drawing on the counter or on a horizontal standing case, it won't recognize touch.Disappointed. Verizon says they're looking into it and will hopefully send me a new unit but they're said it will take 5 days to even investigate... The iPad is great for what I needed it for, I just got a broken one and hope Verizon makes it right
Tough mean unkind servicetold them it's freezing they not goodIt's doesn't update chrome keyboard automatically generated U need to constantly touch bottom middle bar It's difficult to use swipe down appThere's no clipboard for chrome search engine iPad doesn't allow Microsoft word Samsung better than iPad they can quickly delete all apps in 1 go for multitasking windowsThis doesn't U have to manually delete excruciatingly yourself This is much bigger than Samsung tablet iPad began speaking by itself
I had had my old iPad Air for nearly 10 years and it was losing its charge quickly as well as taking a long time to charge. So I bought a new one, assuming it would be better in every respect. I was disappointed that I did not notice too much of a difference, only in the much shorter time it takes to charge. Everything else was about the same - I don't find it more responsive or anything. And one thing that I just cannot get the hang of is how to close open apps on the home screen. It can take me more than 10 attempts to close them, as instead of pressing the home button, you now have to kind of flick them into the middle before dispatching them, and I think I either flick too quickly or too slowly. There must be a knack, but it eludes me!
