I question what a Geek Squad "Refurbish" entails. Mine had fingerprints on all sides. There is a light scratch on the top-right quadrant of the screen. The charger they sent is only 10 watts, which is way too low, and obviously not from Apple (a random black charger.) Oh , to add insult to injury, the cable is 1 foot long, lol. Some nerve. Other than that, the iPad works well. It had 110 charge cycles, and 95% of its estimated battery life remaining.

I’d been shopping around and comparing for a while to decide whether I should take the leap and get myself a Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet. I finally decided to pivot my attention to the iPad Pro 12.9” for the following reasons (in order of importance):1. Mobility - the iPad is basically a PC in itself and the Pro’s configuration has the necessary performance (and then some) to do what I need. The Wacom Cintiq needs an additional module (which is 1.5c the price of the actual tablet) to become fullymobile without the need to carry a laptop everywhere in addition.2. Drawing experience - After months of testing between the 2 technologies, I came to realize that Apple did their homework and were meeting all my requirements (smooth pen play with very little to no pen ... Let’s not forget that the iPad comes at base with its tactical screen (extra$$ on the Cintiq) for easy manipulation during creation.3. Price - Apple’s iPad Pro 12.9” was definitely the least expensive option that still delivers a very decent bang for your buck.4. Real estate - 12.9” is actually still a very good sized canvas area and being fully mobile and tactical make it even better.Loving it!

Best screen ever and insanely powerful. Has handled everything I've thrown at it without so much as a hiccup. It's a little overpriced but that's the trade-off for paying over time. All around, I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the device. I wouldn't exactly call it a laptop replacement but that's simply because of the lack of certain apps. However, it comes impossibly close. Multitasking is a breeze, especially with stage manager enabled, the display is gorgeous, editing tools work flawlessly, and it speeds through even the most daunting tasks. Not to mention it's a beautiful piece of hardware. IMHO, it's the best tablet you can buy. Seems indifferent from the 2018 and 2020 releases, the M1 chip is overhyped, and does not offer any better performance over the previous generations. Many people give this 2021 iPad Pro great reviews, but in my experience, it does not seem a great value. Either the iPad OS cannot take advantage of the M1 chip (may have been manufactured by Motorola, I am not sure on this), or its performance is wired to the LIDAR sensor for augmented reality. The 'zoom' feature on the new front camera does not work with iPad OS, but emulated (quite well, actually) through third-party Apps that take advantage of it. Screen has blooming issues, but only on max brightness. The screen, otherwise, is as good as any previous model. That said, this upgrade is very minor, and gimmicky, and ... Screen has blooming issues, but only on max brightness. The screen, otherwise, is as good as any previous model. That said, this upgrade is very minor, and gimmicky, and so maybe I could give this four stars, but if you already have the 2018 or 2019 model, the value knocks it down a star, given my 3-star review. Be careful, and yeah, if you do a lot of 4K video, and the cameras on the iPad are quite good, it is awesome you can get the 2 TB model. Even many new computers do not come in this capacity, even far from the base model. Battery life is outstanding as usual.
Had a few scratches on the screen. At least they were in the corners or I would have sent it back. Ya I know I bought it refurbished but of all things the screen should not be scratched. They probably thought since it was just two corners no big deal. But still lam to sell it like this. Only option is to return it and try again but no guarantee the next one will not be worse. So mind as will keep this one. I am sure that is who ever decided to send this one of was hoping. Someone not so lazy would for sure send it back. Just suck they would deem this condition worthy to sell.
Device was pretty great, but I returned it for two reasons,1st- ipad OS had major restrictions to the point were why even spend that money when you could buy a macbook air.2nd- battery life wouldn't last more then an hour and a half.Everything else about the tablet is great through, m1 processor makes it very fast and the screen has great colors and contrast. This overall was a good tablet, just not for me.
To be honest I was a little nervous about purchasing a renewed tablet as you can never be sure what you're getting until the device arrives. I have to say that so far so good. The 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 was packed in a non-descript box and was well protected. It came with a non-apple wall charger. After charging the tablet it started right up with defaulted to factory reset condition. Configuration was easy as I used my copied the apps and data from my existing iPad over to the new device.IMO, the tablet is in excellent condition. There are no obvious scuffs, scratches or other defects on its exterior. The screen is perfect. Everything appears to be functioning well. I haven't had it long enough to assess battery life but it seems okay. All in all, it's been a ... My iPad Pro 12.9’ 128GB arrived in the mail yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised! For the price, I honestly expected something to be noticably wrong with the device, but besides a couple of small scratches near the top right corner, its virtually unscathed. It runs great, the display is beautiful, it works seamlessly with my Apple Pencil, and the camera is better than expected. Overall, highly reccomend this refurbished device and will be getting many years of use out of this hopefully!
No issues with the iPad. However, received a Non-OEM charge cable (USB to USB-C) and power adapter (USB) . Reached customer service chat and was advised to return/exchange the entire item to a store or return shipping, instead of just the charger and cable. I didn't choose the store return / exchange because a similar experience with a open box ( best buy in store pickup) item which came with completely wrong cable and the nearest stores were not helpful, one store told me to go the store where I picked and the other one was told to reach out the manufacturer and luckily the manufacturer was able to send original cable free of cost, so this time I opted to return it instead of going through all these hassle. The ipad looks brand new with no noticeable scratches or markings. It did not come in a shrink-wrapped box, but it had the protective paper folded neatly around it and was in a heavy duty bubble wrap case. So far, my only issue is the charging cord and adapter—when it arrived, the ipad was at 40% charge, so I plugged it in with the charging cord and adapter it came with and fell asleep. When i woke up, the ipad was only at 63% after a couple hours. I noticed the connection kept slipping on and off (it beeped every time it would reconnect), and it wouldn’t go any higher than 64%. Now I am using an old charging cord that I already had and it’s not going any higher than 64%, but its also keeping the charge connected to my ipad, so it seems it’s working better than the ... I am disappointed that my ipad didn’t come with a sufficient charger, so I am going to look into getting that replaced.
